I'm not sure if choosing Becks so early is a wise choice. Very good player but their are better players available in the draft so far.

I think a line up of more like-able and United players will get more votes even if it is not better imo.

So its actually a very smart choice.

Aye for me he was the best all-action midfielder in Europe around the turn of the last decade. When Rangers were last decent, our midfield got the better of the likes of Bayern and Parma, but a Mendieta-inspired Valencia were a class above.

Good pick. I can understand why he hadn't gone earlier and I wasn't going to pick him either, but a sure vote winner, particularly with Keano in there.

If the draw's favourable in the later stages, it's not impossible that Cal will be able to put the United quartet together which would curry a lot of favour.

Agree about the defenders, but you're on your own if you think Henry was a better striker than Ronaldo.

I'm struggling as there's an obvious pick I had in mind from the outset and it is still available, but at the rate midfielders have gone I'll probably have to sacrifice it :annoyed:

What's the rush with all this?! Six hours isn't a very long time, so expecting every pick to be done in five minutes is very impatient. Besides, the selecting really is the best and most interesting part of this process. Relax and enjoy yourselves.
 
I was struggling then but realised I get my next pick fairly soon.

Agreed. This is like the last one on speed. The actual games aren't really fun and barely muster any interest.
 
I was going to go for a striker but people are talking about lack of defensive midfielders so I am going to snap up this guy ...

I actually think there are too many games in this group format - it is interesting for those involved but people cant be arsed to vote that many times.

TBH, it has taken roughly as long to get this far, it was over Christmas that the other one understandably went sluggish.

My issue is I'm off to the beach for the weekend, so I sure want to get my picks sorted before that! My wife would kill me if I'm sat there ruminating about the relative merits of picking Henry or Zidane.
