5th Test Showdown

67-2, Vaughan out for 45. Bell in next, could be 67-3 very quickly...:nervous:

McGrath almost got a hat-trick. Huge appeals from all the Auusies....

Warne almost in on the act. Dropped catch off his bowling....

I also can't beleive mojo's "67-2, Vaughan out for 45. Bell in next, could be 67-3 very quickly... :nervous"

What were you thinking man?!?!? Biggest jinx I've ever seen!

Yeah, I was thinking that as soon as I posted it.

5 down for 122 now. I'm getting very nervous.

If England can leave a total of 220+, it'll be hard to get. They need to bat at least till tea though.

Ah well, at least Il be winning £67.

£10 with Ladbrokes, then i heard about them taking another wicket so i placed £10 with Will Hill.

Traitor!

Lunch. What a game!

I'm not sure how much more of this I can take.

Just joking RedFlag.

I still think England have a good chance. If they can get another 100 on the board, that'll leave the Aussies with 230+ to get, which won't be easy against Flintoff and Hoggard bowling anywhere like they did in Australia's 1st innings.

I think it might have to be Harmy and Freddie bowling well to save us this evening. I'm not too confident about Hoggy in non-overcast conditions.

Could have a point there nealn. What's the weather forecast for this afternnon then, dry and sunny? Looks ok at the moment from my window, blue skies and a few wispy clouds....Unfortunately.

Come on! There've been so many twists and turns this series you just know this match isn't over yet. Any sort of total of 220+ will be tough to get.

Warne's bowling performance in this series ranks as the greatest I've ever seen along with Harbajhan in 2001, possibly even better because he had to do it on English pitches.

England will be all out for 170 max.

Could well be right. We haven't really got anyone left who will dig in for 2 hours. They all take risks.

Come back Chris Tavare, all is forgiven!

Pietersen dug in nicely during the last one, wouldn't rule it out

There's not much point sticking around for 20 overs if you only 40 runs in that time and then get all out for 180, leaving the Aussies with 33 overs to get the required runs.

They need runs as well to put the game beyond the Aussies...

Here we go then....

And Pieterson gets one that keeps low first ball....

We have to try and keep the ball on the floor, not go for silly 6's but try to get it through gaps for fours.

129-5. That's a lead of 135 with a possible 72.4 overs still to play.

Pieterson hits a six RedFlag. Obviously not listening to you!

140-5

Good on yer neal!

Let's hope you don't jink him like I did Bell...

Collingwood looks very dodgy against Warne, could be gone soonish
