In fairness I think Nordahl-gate may have bitten him in the arse in that game. I'll miss Anto if he doesn't make a comeback but it was hard to have much sympathy for his 'yesterday I was lying but today I'm telling the truth' line of argument during his meltdown
.Johnstone over Ball every time. In my list I had ranked Johnstone, Bene and then Ball, but then went with Jair for other reasons.
A fine line between choosing ability over tactical fits. In the end, Johnstone's ability won out.

Once I got Netzer there was no way I was going to pass up on him. Scratch that, even without Netzer I would have still gone for him - fantastic individual and also capable of playing as a wing-forward, FB and various roles in midfield. There actually was one better pure DM in the remaining pool (the best one in this draft as far as I'm concerned) but Wimmer was a much better fit for my team and what I'm aiming for. I was slightly worried when you had missed out of Overath but Rensenbrink was a great pick in the end.Ball and Rosato were my next picks, I am not sure who I am picking now. Gonna take a couple of hours.
Just to side track a bit, for those who are looking forward to the bamboozle draft, you have to wait for at least a year

Handy player to have around in case you face Balu - IIRC he contained Müller for the full ninety, was subbed off, and a couple of minutes later the same Müller scored.
I'm all for giving him more time. But if all the following managers are around, please leave your picks with someone else. Like for example send them to me, if you have to leave, so that we can get keep it going once harms shows up.

The problem with waiting is that it tends to feck up the dynamics of the whole process (as LVG would say).
Anyway, I'm not feeling strongly about it either way - but crappy has a point. There's no point in having deadlines if we keep ignoring them.
Will be around all day so can leave picks with me too. I've got ages until my next go and won't have anyone left to pick by then....
I personally would prefer a different deadline structure anyway. Something like 8 hours for the first 4 rounds, 6 hours for round 5 - 8 and 4 hours for round 9 - 12. And every manager can twice use an extension of additional 8 hours, if he can't come online.
The reason being that the first 4 picks are way more important and missing one of them hurts the team way too much. On the other hand, there's no reason to have endless waiting towards the end of the draft, when it's much easier to send a list of 3-4 names to one of the other managers in case you're not around when it's your turn. The additional 8 hours, which everyone can use twice, balances it all, because sometimes an emergency at work or at home can really feck up your day.
