Television 24

Guilty pleasure for me. Made no sense most of the time, but I watched every episode.

Elvis just wet himself.

I've hit the point of no return with this show after 2 and a half series...baffled as to how they managed to get 8 out of it!

dammit chloe

It was the same shit over and over again.. lost interest after 3-4 seasons.

What's not to love! We all need a Jack Bauer. Some people take the show far too seriously. The concept of it meant it was always going to have a fair bit more filler than other shows. Would Breaking Bad maintain the same quality if it were 24 episodes per season, for example?

Great for the first few seasons then really sucked testicles after that. I will probably give in and watch this though if it is a continuation from where the last series finished.

No way is it coming back! I loved 24 it was one of my favourite shows. Jack Bauer is the man.

Interesting news - I've seen all of the seasons and will look forward to seeing more. It's not even remotely challenging TV, but it's hardly ever dull and for me a decent use of 45 minutes.

They should totally make this a romantic comedy, with Jack having a nice and relaxing day with his bird.

1,2 and 3 were good.......then they killed it off by well randomly dropping all their cast just for them to randomly return endless amounts of times for far weaker characters. Should of finished it after 4 with the initial cast, some deaths might have had a bit of an emotional hit to them that way....you know, like Ninas and Georges....who cared when the others died afterwards really?

Jack turning into Rambo didn't help either. Earlier seasons had slightly slower build ups which I liked and less action.

I loved 24. Season 5 was my favourite taking down the president

Pretty much had the same feeling as almost everyone here; not really bothered, the show lost it after the 2nd-3rd season. Too many character changes and the plot got too convoluted. Did enjoy the first 3 a lot though.

Season 1 was brilliant, right up there with the best seasons of any show. Season 2 onwards was a clusterfeck of cliches, jingoism and predictability.

Oh it was hilarious that he survived from almost impossible situations, for example flying a plane with nuclear explosive yet was saved by some fortune.

George Mason snook on the plane and persuaded Bauer to let him take over, so Jack parachuted out and Mason flew to his death. Hardly a ridiculous scenario.

Next please.

I think you missed my post where I said I loved the show.

Who is this esmufc13 who has been promoted with about 16 posts and not bothered introducing himself in the introduce yourself thread.

Jack must have been really dehydrated, I don't think he had a drink or went for a piss once.
