Television 24

He definitely had the choice, but the guy was a rapist/peadophile and Jack needed to get back in with the patriot crew, so it was a justifiable execution.

He's shot/possibly killed multiple people who were not terrorists/enemies, I remember when he was shooting around in an embassy a couple seasons ago pretending to be part of a terrorist cell, he killed 2-3 people who were protecting their leader, but he had to kill them to maintain cover.

GREAT episode again tonight. 24 is going out in style.

This times a thousand.

Not gonna lie. That episode made me really uncomfortable towards the end. In an uncomfortably awesome sort of way.

Swallowing that card was a terrible idea.

And the ending with the answering machine and Jack's face! Perfectly played.

As you said, uncomfortable in an awesome sort of way. That was an epic episode. Stunning. But he dint have any option but to swallow it. The only way to do it without being detected by the guy guarding him.

But this was one hell of an episode. The next 3 episodes could be some of the best ever!

Amazing.

I was glad that the Russian didn't break in the end because those kind of guys wouldn't, they would rather die.

I had a feeling a few episodes ago that Jack was coming after Logan, who by the way was outstanding again in this episode.

Loved the scene where Madsen found the Russian and then flipped his scope down

Possibly the best episode of 24 ever?

Amazing

Swallowing the card meant that Jack had to kill him. Brilliant idea from him (if you want a one-way ticket to death, of course).

Wish I didn't watch the trailer for the next episode. :(

I did wonder why Jack didn't look for a phone in the first place though, surely that should have been the first thing he should have looked for, contacts?

I still think there's room for one or two more major deaths (is Logan one?). My bet is on Arlo.

Yeah don't get why Jack didn't think of that earlier. That bit was probably the weakest part of the whole episode. But then it would've made the whole torture scene way less cool

Is there a movie definitely planned?

Jack didn't think of it earlier because I think he was dead set on ripping the guy to shreds to begin with.

This. He clearly wasn't thinking straight and only thinking of inflicting pain on the Russian.

Such a good episode, and some really brutal torture to boot.

Also, how good was it watching Jack own everyone on the CCTV cameras, and then seeing the other peoples reactions to what he just did. BADASS

I can't wait to see that Pillar cnut get killed or hurt. Can't stand the fecker
I think his character will become more interesting now that Logan basically gave him a "free role" to do whatever he needed to do to end the whole thing; maybe he'll become incredibly ruthless. It's why I see someone like Arlo getting killed because he's obnoxious, nosy and his name isn't Chloe (i.e. you can't kill off Chloe... Right?).

I don't see Pillar getting killed mind you, maybe arrested as part of the conspiracy but nothing more.

its the last series... and the film is apparently set in london... so they could kill of chloe...

I saw the Russian Pres being the big bad coming. Especially once Logan gave up the Russian consulate so easily.

^^ Think you should spoilor that but yeah even i saw it coming.

Brilliant episode though. Can't just believe just 2 more episodes of 24 left :(

One of the best episodes of 24 I've ever watched.
It was predictable that Suvarov was the big bad guy otherwise there wouldn't have been the need to make him appear this late in the show.
I don't know what to say about the scene where Bauer kidnaps Logan.Ultimate awesomeness and Logan's face and reaction.Great acting

Wow.

The acting was superb in this one, especially Logan.

I wonder if Tim Woods will spill the beans on his suspicions - he's a good guy, but you could see the look on his face when he was asked to censor the press.

So many questions, and only 2 episodes left forever. :(

Big one for me: Will Kayla tell her mother about Reed? Or will Kayla take matters into her own hands, possibly illegally? Wouldn't be the first time a daughter of a sovereign leader pulled something drastic...

Oh and when he said this I couldn't help but laugh. Shame it spoilt the whole scene for me...

Charles Logan: Oh, oh that's Jack Bauer, that's gotta be. Did you hear what I said? That's Jack Bauer!

a little spoiler about next episode from the promo I saw

Her mother does finds out and confronts Taylor.

This an unbelievable end to 24.

The standard of acting shown by Charles Logan is absolutely out of this world. The way he reacted to Jack halting the convey and the subsequent interrogation was some of the best acting you'll see in 24.

i have to agree - absolutely superb.
these last few weeks have been staggeringly magnificent - even by 24's standards

The way the season is finishing up I can totally "forgive" them the spastic moments with had with that weird looking blonde girl in previous episodes
edit: Some of you guys are mad to watch the trailer for the next episodes specially as they're about the end of the show

Stunning TV. If the last 3 episodes were an action film, it'd probably be the best action film ever made. Fantastic stuff.

Charles Logan is a superb actor. Loved the scene where he was panicking, cracked me up.

Also I'm glad they didn't show Jack killing all the Russians, great touch.

Jack bugging Logan was predictable though.

Yeah never watch the trailer for the finale since they always show scenes from both episodes of the doubleheader which inevitably spoils the first episode of the two.
