Television 24

yes he had to
it's set up now to go head to head with chloe but i think eventually chloe will come down on his side. but where's tony?

Two scenarios:

Tony is remorseful. Chloe calls him to try to get him to stop Jack from getting too crazy because he's the only one who understands what he's going through.

Tony is still pissed. Jack turns to him because he's the only one who understands what he's going through.

Both scenarios would require Jack somehow getting Tony out of prison or Tony already being out of prison for whatever reason.

brilliant jv!
both would work!

Typical turn of even but it isn't to be seen as a flaw. It's what make 24 a great show, the impossible decisions Presidents have to make but after everything Jack's done regarding the Sangala incident and this IRK/Russian plot, I still didn't expect Taylor to betray him.
She's a gloryhunter and wanna be remembered for achieving a fake peace process.Logan is a great character and it's refreshing to see him back. With Jack being AWOL now I wonder what his next move will be as right now nothing has opened up

Jack will kill Chloe when he figures out that she and Logan are plotting to reinstate him as President. You know it makes sense

First thought was either Dana or Cole - this subplot sadly isn't closed yet. I have a feeling one or both will die - maybe Cole will save Dana? Or maybe be forced to shoot her? Or the other way round? Or will they die together in a typical "final few moments"-cliché-scenario?

I would not be surprised if Logan dies, maybe by Jack or the Russians.

It has been more or less confirmed that Tony won't be in this season. He will probably do the movie.

if you catch my meaning.

Okay it wasn't as close as I thought it was going to be.

Next week though...

Also Logan v Kanin is absolutely electric.

Also it's inevitable that Chloe will be on board eventually.

One guy at CTU looked a lot like Hastings from the back.

Filler episode.

I hope that they don't make Chloe join Jack. A full blown war of wits between Chloe and Jack in the final season of 24 would be fitting.

Also they have made the conflict between Jack and the President, too black and white.

I find disturbing that the president Taylor who I thought was different and "honest" in her actions than others like Logan and Daniels would choose the same path as her infamous predecessors.
It lacks credibility because after all the Sangala incidents, you think she'd avoid using illegal and criminal methods for a president.I hate how Chloe tried to outsmart Jack, ffs it's Bauer. The guy is a legend and you'd be mad to go against him.
All in all, I don't like the direction the show has taken for the final few episodes

Michael Madsen is the only thing that came out of the episode, predictable outcome of the trap on Jack too. But still setup for a cracking final few episodes.

This season needs some Aaron Pierce. He's been in every season except this one.

I didn't think much of that episode after the previous few had been much better.
The President is acting totally out of character - far from convincing. The whole Jack going rogue, Chloe trying to catch him but with regrets and that bloke from Scooby Do (who is crap in the role BTW) throwing his lot in with Jack also doesn't ring true.

I hope these plot twists come together in a half believable way soon.

Wow
Fantastic last scene.Jack may turned into Pyscho-Jack.Finally that annoying Dana bitch is dead.I liked how Logan acted as if he was still talking to the president when she hang up on him .
Will Jack try to kill every single of the "bad" guys or will try to reveal the truth behind the peace accord ?Either, the end of the season is really shaping up to be outstanding

totally agree

there have been times this season when it's been absolutely brilliant, the last scene being one. i didn't think he'd kill her tbh

Wow amazing last 20 minutes or so

That new blonde assistant is a completely pointless character but still a nice bit of eye candy.

Good ep, I knew Jack would kill her as soon as he asked her to put the disk on the floor

I knew Jack would kill her when she was shouting at Cole under the bridge about Jack assembling a kill-list starting with her own execution after he acquired the evidence, the look on Jacks face was perfect, he was like a guilty child.

Was that the first time Jack has unlawfully killed someone when he didn't need to?

Oh yeah  Still I don't think he had a choice there. With this he could have just taken her in or left her cuffed.
