2024 UEFA Champions League final — Borussia Dortmund vs Real Madrid — Wembley, Sat 1 June 20:00 BST

The referee was also crazily bias to RM might as well wear white jersey. 2 yellow cards for normal protests and RM get all those silly calls. Dortmund is playing against RM and refereee.

Not sure Vini will see the end of this game on the pitch.

Think Brandt's performance is going a bit overlooked. He's been fantastic at getting the ball in between the lines and progressing it. Should have gotten an assist as well.

You just know Bellingham is going to get a goal and Rio's going to blow a load.

Real are off physically, ran way less than Dortmund.

let's see whether they sort it out in the second half

Madrid have been completely terrible. Nailed on 1-0 win.

Sancho been good with his decision making and passing in open play when there's options available. Totally ineffective with the few 1 vs 1 chances he had though and a bit odd he tried it on and on against Mendy, when he clearly can't get the better of him.

Basically nothing new we don't know but for him it's fairly promising.

Strange game, Dortmund been good except their finishing.
Madrid been horrible and they look like theyve just played 48 hours ago. But are in it still and probably favourites cos they are Madrid.

Definetely doesn't look like someone that will control a midfield.

He isnt playing in a position to, but no he's never looked that kind of player. He's playing in front of the ball making the runs and linking up with the wide forwards, Kroos and Camavinga are in the positions to control a game

Not our day. Don José Luis Mato Sanmartín and pray

Not a chance. On top of that he’s been praised to high heavens for his goalscoring exploits this season so much so that he’s been talked about surpassing even Zidane. Once you are put on such a pedestal you always want to score goals and never want to come into the midfield and do the silent work of controlling the game for the team. Who the feck needs that? Let me go and score some goals to bask in the sunshine.

Can't wait to read how amazing Sancho has been, despite him basically doing nothing anytime there's not time and space. Super tidy then though

I think as soon as Madrid bring Modric on it's game over. Game over, man

Foden needs to be the number 10 for England, not Bellingham.

Looks like the player I've seen every other time I've seen him. He's cut from the same cloth as the likes of Dele Alli.

Comparing Bellingham to Dele isn't a bad call. Bellingham is a clutch player and I wouldn't be shocked if he scores the winner. However, he's rated because of what he does in the final third.

He's one of the many pseudo Lampards who are top level as box to box midfielders but only truly game changing because of their goalscoring, not creation, passing etc. In days gone by he would have been the second striker in a front two.

Refs love that RM team. Remeber that Nani red card?

I agree, i just find him surprisingly poor in general play.

I don't see a great midfielder in Bellingham. But I do think he can be a very effective second forward.

I hate how he’s developed into essentially a Dele Alli type 9.5. He has the skill set/work rate to be so much more.

I understand why Ancellotti deploys him as such, just think it’s a bummer for the players development.

Look at all those fancy seats. Nobody is in their place for the start of second half. Sponsors and ”VIP” should not been given tickets.
