2024 U.S. Elections | Trump wins

It’s so funny that Republicans rail against Hollywood and celebrities, but at the same time desperate to have them associate with them. And then the only ones they can get are Kid Rock and Hulk Hogan.

Trump would love more Hollywood stars to back him, but ultimately he's gaslit his flock into believing the MAGA brand is more about the everyday person than famous celebrities. The reality at this point is there aren't very many Hollywood celebrities who can openly back MAGA out of fear it may ruin their careers.

Don’t forget Amber Rose!

She was probably their most effective speaker over four days.

How can the democrats read the room so badly wrong?

Or atleast those involved in the campaign? Insisting he stays on as presidential candidate is self harming too the max. It’s of course a risk too change candidate now, but it’s a bigger risk sticking with Biden, the winner will be Trump

It's always interesting to see suggestions from those who might not be familiar with the intricacies of US politics, norms, customs, party rules, and procedures. The idea that Biden should simply drop out this late in the game is quite a bold one. Rest assured, the party apparatus is undoubtedly considering all scenarios and preparing for any eventuality, even if Biden's withdrawal is still uncertain at this point.

It's people high up in the dem party who want him to drop out. Are they also not familiar with the intricacies of US politics, norms, customs, party rules, and procedures?

Unless their name is Valerie Biden or Jill Biden, they don't matter. Allegedly

You may be overstating the competence of the Dem party. The reality of the matter is we are currently in uncharted territory and they are making up as they go.

To be fair, from the outside looking in the democratic party apparatus does not appear to make decisions with any sort of strategic considerations, rather they seem to use more archaic criteria such as seniority (thinking of it being Hillary's turn in 2016).

Falling to your knees crying like a bitch is badass and inspiring now? Ok, Cuckerberg.

fecking Dubya would've stayed on his feet looking for the shooter, daring him to have another go.

Zuck is big into MMA now, so he has probably socialized with Trump, who also attends the big events.

There's been a notable shift in SV away from the Democratic Party and towards Trump.
Having said that, Zuck did not explicitly endorse either candidate - not that endorsement matters much, it's contributions.

Openly endorsing and massively contributing to a campaign by people who own prominent social networks is also a conflict of interest. Musk flamboyantly endorsing Trump, then announcing he is dropping $45m/month towards his reelection, all the while running Twitter and having full control of how its algos present political narratives to users, is suspect at best, and potentially something that needs to be looked at going forward.

Teddy Roosevelt would had grabbed his Horse, hunted the poor guy into extinction and then hung him up on wall as a sign of don't fkin mess with me bucko

While concerns about the influence of social media owners on political campaigns are perfectly valid, media influence is not limited to one political party. Many mainstream media outlets have historically shown biases towards the other side, which could and has similarly affected political narratives and public opinion.

Not to this degree. What is the left equivalent of fox news and twitter?

Anyone else thinks that Michelle Obama is the only way to beat the fat Orange pedo? I bet he will call her Michael in the possible debate

People losing their shit to this post was funny, because the real shocker is Michelle Obama running, not the casual "pedo" accusation thrown around. Priorities, folks!

Where is @moses and his tireless dedication to enforcing rules around here?

That's the normal reaction of anyone being shot at.

Trump has also been briefed and trained on how to behave in this case. I didn't see or hear him cry either, more like being in shock which is, once again, a normal human reaction.

He sure had enough of political saviness to milk the living shit out of the situation with his fist pumping and not only his supporters but also some neutrals are lapping it.

Trump and badass don't belong to the same sentence, but the damage is already done.

Right when he suggests he’ll continue campaigning next week. No doubt many will go public in the coming days if he doesn’t budge, maybe Pelosi as well.

She has tried the shiv, now it is time to put him to the sword.

He must be either delusional or have the worst, self interested advisors of all time.

How can he not realize that his age is now the number one factor in this race. He had his chance to prove he is fit and couldnt perform at the debate. There is etched into the memory of everyone in the country. He cant turn that around.

He has had over three weeks to clean up after the debate. In that time, he hasn't convinced anyone. He has called Harris VP Trump, he called Zelensky President Putin, he has flopped in all of the interviews, he took about 6 mins to walk down a set up airplane steps and he managed to get COVID.

His job was to be able to tout his achievements and remind how disastrous another Trump term would be. He is not able to do either in a coherent fashion.

Biden has made this a referendum on him, which is a losing position.

We have a report function, although that is less of the desired public tantrum.

You've done well today.

Yeah, he had the chance to go gracefully this week but if he’s still planning to stay on, he is directly sabotaging the country and his legacy, and things will get very ugly. If he and his campaign can’t see that it’s impossible for him to continue/win now, they are beyond delusional.

Imagine going through all the trouble to replace Biden with someone who is even less popular.

I hate Trump, but have to admit, for those who lap this kind of stuff up, fist pumping and shouting "fight, fight, fight" moments after being shot is legendary stuff.

It does make me question why the secret service didnt get him off stage asap. And why there seemed to be so many warning about the kid who took the shot. Miraculous how the bullet just grazed his ear. Im not a conspiracy theorist, but it all seems very strange.

If he does not step down by early next week, there will be a full on mutiny. I can see the majority of Dem senators calling for him to step down.

He gasped and cried "ahh" like the old lady from Florida he is.

Only for people who want to see it that way.

I dont believe he's a courageous man or a badass. On the contrary. He did that fist pumping when the shooter was down and he was circled by enough bodies.

They tried but he kept insisting on getting his shoes. Not easy to move a 6'4 piece of lard when it doesn't cooperate.

There's nothing strange, he turned his head at the right moment and the bullet only grazed his ear instead of blowing the back of his head. Sheer luck, nothing more.
