2024 U.S. Elections | Trump v Harris

All of this.

Watching that video is depressing enough because that's not a life you want for an 8-year-old. Let her have fun with her friends at this time of the year of all times, for God's sake!
Exactly. Seeing my kids playing with other kids last was such a joy.

I also don’t understand why would people campaign on new year eve.

What’s also amazing is that immigration/border security somehow become bigger issues in election years. Must be a coincidence.
It’s more about how Americans should feel about having a giant dystopian border wall rather than anything to do with policy.

The most radical Democrats want to cry about having the border wall. Where as Republicans want to gloate about it. But in terms of the policy both parties agree.

The right wing generally doesn’t really try to solve the issue of immigration, because it’s always a topic that they can use to attack the left. Imagine the U.S. finding a serious solution to illegal migration, what would the GOP then say in future elections?

No recession? Inflation is down to 3%? The S&P is having a great run? The unemployment rate has been under 4% since late 2021? OK, let’s talk about caravans.

Eh, the GOP can always invent some crisis and accusation at the Dems even if bilaterally they were to solve it. The base doesn't care for facts, look at the various cuts and programs they vote against only to then go on the trail and claim they supported such or champion the cause but conveniently leave out they voted against.

The problem being the GOP is not in it for governing these days.

The GOP’s most Trump-skeptical bloc starts falling in line

Donald Trump is making serious headway with a bloc of the GOP that’s among the most skeptical of his 2024 bid: Republican senators.

“I expect he’s going to be the nominee and receive the enthusiastic support of a great, great majority of senators,” said Sen. John Barrasso of Wyoming, the conference’s No. 3 leader.

I’m thinking it’s a dig at the last person of color to be the First Lady. Or is that too much of a leap?

I am sure that is exactly who he was taking a shot at. Funny considering that's offensive to a truck load of men as well who like Beyonce style cabooses.
It's also funny coming from a dumpy old man who looks like he has only eaten fried food his entire life.

He has the charisma of a corpse, the hygiene of a teenage boy and the body insecurities of a teenage girl, a voice that would make Bobcat Goldwaith cringe, and an even more unlikable wife who tries to dominate every event she is in.

but besides those little things I am at a loss to explain how the wheels came off. It’s a mystery.

Yes - in a nutshell

Too much. Michelle was anything but. Plus the MAGAites aren't obsessed with her. Hillary on the other hand meets all those criteria.

I’m of course not saying she is, I’m saying that this potato shaped humanoid thinks that. And I don’t agree that they aren’t obsessed with Michelle - there are literally people spreading the ‘conspiracy theory’ that she is really a man.

Yeah I'm aware of that but she barely registers for them. The Michelle is a man theory is fringe, even for them. Of the last five first ladies only Hillary is anything close to having an ass as wide as six axe handles, and she's the person/entity (i.e. The Clintons) they are most obsessed with.

Yeah, well she did hold public office and also ran for President. If Michelle threw herself into 2024 race, the negative attention from the right would go into overdrive, which would obviously be racially driven as well. And I'm not so sure about the dimensions of their respective behinds, but I am not about to do any research on it either.

Oh yeah if Michelle entered politics it would be ugly, no doubt about that but MAGAs obsession tree has Hillary and Obama at the top, followed by The Clintons and then Biden by virtue of him being the current President.

Only did a quick Google search but Jill, Melania, Michelle, and Laura all look fine for their respective ages.

Are we witnessing Haley tanking her campaign?

This is actually hilarious. Classic example of deciding on a conclusion to fit a narrative. It can't have anything to do with people not wanting to fight in meaningless wars and getting treated like shit when they get back, because that doesn't fit her neocon agenda. No, it must be the gender pronoun classes, that the average soldier maybe spends half a day on every year.

Good, i hope he spends a bunch of time and resources in states like New York and New Jersey, instead of actual swing states.

Surely, he isn't actually that delusional, right?
