Swing from previous electionsHow so? I see Harris winning comfortably so far in those that are counted or this is exit polls?

FineHow is NH?
I'm feeling pretty hopeless...?
Too early for that. If nothing changes trajectory wise in an hour or so then yeah maybe worry a bitI'm feeling pretty hopeless...?
Data on independents, some of the exit poll data of swings vs. 2020. It's plenty of incremental positive nuggets for Trump, very few (if any?!) for Harris. It's far too early. Nothing surprising has really happened yet.

Virginia got called for Harris, maybe folks can stop talking about it now.
There's about 1 point in it. I wouldn't say it's gone yet, but he's definitely favoured at the moment.@InfiniteBoredom
GA is definitely gone now.
Trump has made more inroads with Hispanics again.
Trump is also gained on suburb/exurb voters in the South.
Harris has gained a bit on counties with younger college educated folks.
AP called?Virginia got called for Harris, maybe folks can stop talking about it now.
I'm not sure about that. There was talk in the past few days of polls overestimating Trump and Harris picking up a lot of momentum. However in some states where we might be able to see some evidence of this (Georgia, Florida) we simply aren't, if anything going the other way. Seen a lot of positive numbers and indications for Trump, not a lot of good news for Harris so far. It's far too early. Nothing surprising has really happened yet.
I see.Swing from previous elections
Yep it shouldn't be this close. Hopeless country. They deserve what happens next. I'm so tired of the bullshit.Well done Murica. You’re actually doing it… again
CNN hasn’t called it. Only 50% of the vote is in.Virginia got called for Harris, maybe folks can stop talking about it now.
AP called?
DecisiondeskHQ called it, works for me, state is not going red.CNN hasn’t called it. Only 50% of the vote is in.
Indeed. The Seltzer poll and subsequent theory that herding/ pollsters scared of underestimating Trump for a third election in a row had pivoted too far.... is not looking likely. And that was the driver of a lot of the excitement on here and in Dem circles over recent days. Ex that, prospects are clearly leaning Trump.I'm not sure about that. not from what I see.AP called?
I said it on here before and plenty of articles have been written on it the last year: he has been tapping into the "poor straight men" who have to fight for their "right" to compete with women, LGBTQ folks, pet pandas and illegal immigrants under the guise of testosterone raaaawwwr! Making the privileged feel oppressed. Where have I heard that before...
Who? I'm seeing red for VirginiaVirginia got called for Harris, maybe folks can stop talking about it now.
Does anyone remember if 2020 was like this or a clear lead for Biden throughout?
Is Trump doing better than 2020?
