2024 Summer Olympics (Paris)

Bit of a shitty thing to do if he knew about the covid beforehand but it doesn't sound like there are any official protocols regarding it at the games...

if anyone is racing later in the week and got a hug from Lyles they're going to be happy.

Pretty funny after all the shit talking Lyles did in his presser after the 100m final. Trying so hard to be the new Bolt, with his ridiculous antics before the start and confusing shit talking for confident charm. But the talking has to be done on the track. And a razor thin win in the 100 with a 9.79 and third in the 200 at 19.70 doesn’t really set him apart from the other top athletes, let alone elevate him to the status of being the new Bolt.

Of course American commentators already making excuses saying he was tired, or his asthma was playing up. When the guy himself was saying a couple of days ago that he felt fresh and qas going to absolutely dominate.

Delighted for Tebogo. Unexpected win. Love to see that.

Chopra feeling the pressure for sure.

Plenty of attempts left though.

Arshad Nadeem looks pretty upset after that throw. Almost like he threw it too far and is anticipating how many drugs tests he's going to attempt to pass.

Yeah, the excuses by the NBC commentators were embarrassing. He’s a good athlete, but no where near Bolt.

Hopefully he’s okay, though.

Think we'd be pretty short on athletes if all the ones with covid right now couldn't compete.
There will be a couple of more after he hugged some of the runners after the race.

I wonder if we would ever have been told if he’d won tonight
Highly doubt it. Was all full of beans before the race but clearly tightened up going round the bend, and once he crossed the line in third it’s as though he couldn’t wait to start the theatre. Not before he’d passed it on to a few others through hugs first of course.

Some shithousing after the winner. Bit smalltime.
Heard during the match that the German goalkeeper made some ridiculous statements prior to the match. Something that the Dutch team is scared of the German Team, because Germany has been better in their recent one-vs-one's.

Don't think Telgenkamp should have touched him, but happy for the shit-housery. German keeper seems like a right prick.

Don't forget the sex later!
Is that a tradition with the 200m finalists?
Could well be the plot of a badly made porno you know

Botswana Olympics team

I suspect you might be right. Can’t believe some people have been comparing him to Bolt. Bolt had fun but was still respectful and everyone loved him - he never set out to wind people up
