2022 US Elections

No way, refuse to believe that until I see it.
That’s an extremely tall claim. Redistrict/Dave Wasserman has it at 216 and Taniel at 215, and that’s after giving D close races like CO-03, WA-03, CA-49. 220 means they pretty much sweep every Toss Up seats in play.

Wait, what? Unless you have inside info on NV and AZ then this is literally the opposite of reality.
Opposite of reality means the Dems have it?

I just saw a news channel where Trump was giving a victory speech and the ticker suggested it was imminent / on course.

Not yet, but it's looking increasingly likely that they will.

Dems started 50-50 in the senate but with better goal difference (Harris tiebreaker).
Picked up a seat in Pennsylvania. All else being equal that would make 51-49.

the 3 key states are Arizona, Nevada, and Georgia. Each party is looking to win 2 of those 3.

Dems have a Healthy lead in Arizona. That means GOP need to flip both Georgia in the runoff (where Warnock leads) and Nevada, where they lead but the outstanding vote favours Democrats.

In the house the losses have been far less than expected. McCarthy will have a tough time as speaker.

what news channel did you see?

I don't get this. Who is that guy and how does he have such a following?
All I'd suggest is to follow him if you are on Twitter. He is quite funny. Could be the first avowed troll I have ever been a fan of.

If you watch College Gameday, there's always at least two or three signs held up that refer to him.

Some Indian channel. Good to hear it's still on like Donkey Kong

He's like the love child of Trump and Nate Silver

Considering the respective track records of this dude and Nate Silver in this election you are kind of insulting him. He nailed this thing better than any of the celebrity pollsters.

Nate Silver has come across pretty petulant and short the last 48 hours

So far, but his bombastic style will result in him getting hammered when he’s inevitably wrong about something. Such is the internet.

Checked out the Biden press conference from yesterday. It does sound like he's going to run for re-election so a lot of our speculation might be all for nought, sadly.

Agreed! Just think what Cal could have done if he had not flamed out ( :D ) so early in the 2020 thread.
Felt like I had to redeem myself, although it was interesting being immersed in Parler during my sabbatical from here in 2020.

To be fair after that midterm performance given the backdrop the DNC are probably looking at him as a safe option when there isn’t really an obvious candidate stepping forward.

I don't think they get it. The beauty of turning on Trump is that they can believe it was his fault, and not their abhorrent policy positions, that cost them this election cycle.

‘Abortion will go away.’

Please keep banging that drum.

Boebert leads Frisch. Wasserman saying the positive news of outstanding votes is inaccurate. Let’s hope he’s wrong!

From r/conservative. They're in shock over there.

Kids today grew up in an America where Abortion was considered a human right. Republican appointed Supreme court judges changed that, even after assuring Congress that they would uphold Roe. V. Wade.

Kids see Republicans as tyrants for this, and liars. Even Trump knew this decision was a bad one, and they did it any way. Honestly -- we need a stronger separation of Church and State.

Not to mention certain Politicians out there talking about how rape victims should bear the child of the rapist... is that really the rock we're on right now? As crazy as the left is, forcing rape victims to bear their rapist's child is the most insane thing I could think of.
