I've been to a large sampling of gyms all over the United States and 99% were hooked up to Fux News. Stop trying to deflect from you being a right wing wind up merchant

He needs more time and interaction with the party base. I think he's made smart moves. He wasn't ready yet as a small town mayor. But, he moved and upped his profile in national politics as Transportation Sec. That is what he needed to do. Now if he can show that he's using the infrastructure money in his department on projects to help the base. He needs a connection with Black and Latino voters especially black women which he is in place to do.

Trump said he would date Ivanka is she was not his daughter, Ted Cruz lies, Marco is tiny, Trump tans his skin orange, his families last name was Drumpft. Fair comments on McConnel as he is not literally a turtle and on Boebert as she has denied being a sex worker and there is no real proof she was.

The difference between those and your comment on Mayor Pete is that you went after who he is, not something he has done. Politician's actions and comments are fair game for as much ridicule as you want to dish out, but no need to resort to bigotry. Past comments by you/me/others does not make it a good thing to continue. I used to go after Graham with the "Lady G" moniker until someone on here pulled me up on it.

It's kind of bizarre that people are watching 24 hour News channels in the gym.

Back when I wasn't such a big fat lazy bastard I would usually have to bring my own headphones to block out shit like "Eye of the Tiger" or some crap dance music.

I did see a Reddit post where some guy tool a pic of a first class flight from a red state and all the headrest tvs were tuned into fox.
 
Most gyms I have ventured to will have more than one TV, usually a half dozen or more depending on the gym size and spacing. The most common channels are CNN, ESPN, Fox News, Weather Channel, and usually a local network channel or two which is good for morning shows and game shows. But most people aren't really paying attention to the TV, they have air pods and headphones on and most gyms have music playing with the TVs on mute.

You mean Pete as VP yes? No way he should leap over someone with proven experience as a governor with just being a mayor and cabinet secretary. Of course in an open primary, if he wins, he wins (and he has made some good comments so far) but I doubt he could defeat Newsom unless something major changes.

It is odd. I'm not a gym guy, but the couple of times I've been to one, the TVs were showing sports related stuff.

Ultimately, you have to go with a ticket that has the best chance of winning. Pete would also obviously add a touch of unprecedented diversity to such a ticket.

I think both would run for Pres, but Gavin would have the better chance of winning the nomination. Pete would make terrific VP who could step in if needed.

Whitmer seems like a potentially stronger VP choice since we're speculating. She can help solidify the upper midwest.
