She shouldn't be doing it either (imo). Both sides need to knock it off and focus getting this guy out of office.

She doesn’t give a feck. All she cares about is finding excuses for why she lost to the biggest joke candidate in US history.

Pete's campaign have complained about the Selzer poll and it won't be getting released.

Pathetic from Pete and his campaign to pull this stunt just because their numbers didn't look good in this poll.

Sounds they fecked up the poll.

Pete's awful, so shame someone noticed, but you can't release a poll once it's known you got the question wrong.

if it is true that pete got it canceled, that is awful news for bernie, he needs either none or both of warren and pete to be above the threshold. warren alone will divide his votes and pete votes go to biden and warren.

It's been reported it's an issue with one survey participant.

Buttigieg campaign would not have pulled this stunt if his numbers were looking good.

Thing I saw said the pollster were unable to say how many times they made the mistake.

EDIT - For clarity, if people think CIA Pete used his dodgy connections to get the poll pulled, then fair enough. I wouldn't rule it out.

If we're just accusing him of getting a poll pulled cause he's a sore loser then I think any campaign would want a poll pulled where the pollster wasn't able to promise they hadn't repeatedly forgotten to mention their candidate.

Numbers some journos say they've heard are:

Sanders 22%
Warren 18%
Buttigieg 16%
Biden 13%

For whatever that's worth.

i saw other bernie suporters fretting over this because it keeps warren strong, but she's toast after the first two states. it's between bernie and biden in nevada, and in SC she does even worse than him, the only qs if she can cross 15% and get anything at all. same with pete but magnified - at least warren will have her home state and california, he has literally nothing else.

for me, if that biden number is true, it's great because he's the threat. the leads he'll build in the south will take some beating. if he starts out 3rd or 4th behind warren+pete, his stock will really drop before he has the chance to go on a spree.

Yeah I think Biden having an awful start and Pete in third in the state he put so much effort in to would be a good result almost regardless of what Warren gets.

Not long until we know...

The NBC Generic ballot poll should worry the Dems. even with the GOP...after the impeachment trial fiasco.

Not so much when you consider that Republicans will support Trump no matter what, so the generic ballot shouldn’t fluctuate too much.

What do you think of his chances if he convincingly wins Iowa and NH... any chance of an 08 repeat?

Not with 15% proportional delegates in place this time imo. He will need to win both IA and NH, be competitive in NV, and not get blown out in SC to compete in the southern and southwestern states after. He’s currently trailing Biden in TX, FL, and NY which are three of the four biggest delegate states, so there’s plenty of work for the campaign to do.

he's close in nevada, that should push him through there. i think he'll close the gap a bit in sc but it's a big gap, so probably lose but not horribly. i was trying to figure out in what ways the black vote is different and found something new:
some recent poll did a breakdown of bernie vote by protestant and catholic. this was in iowa, so like 90% white, but bernie did awful among protestants, well among catholics, and crushed it overall (meaning he did excellent among no religion).

black voters are more likely to be protestant than the dem electorate as a whole. older black voters are also conservative. and the south as a region, both black and white, sucks for bernie, and there are a lot of black voters there.

so you have 3 correlations (age, protestanism, south) for bad bernie numbers.

i think if you account for all 3, there's a race effect remaining, but it's not big enough to analyse.

similarly his very good nationwide numbers among hispanics might be (partly) a function of age, arent they a fast-growing population?

Meh... Trump has bigger BBQs than that at the southern Whitehouse

Michael Bloomberg, who will leap frog that first few rounds of primary caucuses, has already spent $220,000,000 on ads for the Super Tuesday kickoff of his race to challenge Donald Trump in this 2020 general election. It is said he plans on spending as much as $2,000,000,000 on his presidential bid. For such a smart guy he may be the stupidest billionaire to run for office since Ross Perot

Is there any new polls
https://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2020/president/SuperTuesday.html
Looks like even though he's doing the vast majority of spend in super Tuesday states he's not even polling around the 15% "viability" threshold
Can only see his vote being squeezed by a bounce from Iowa and other early states for other candidates plus at some point the others will start running more ads in the super Tuesday states as well
He's basically spending a load of money (in fairness he can afford it) to be trolled by trump when (if) he fails
