Campaign staff and PR managers should really take ownership of the candidates accounts. Seems like absolute madness that they put so much time, effort and science into their methodology and then their candidate can just be sitting at home on their iPhone after a couple large glasses of red and in between a couple of games of candy crush and checking Mumsnet think it’s a good time to post something funny. I’m just surprised it didn’t have LOLXoXo at the end of it.
 
Can the media stop with this "Buttigieg the next Obama", after his speech.I understand that Biden is going in the wrong direction ,but the need for a moderate candidate is getting desperate.

I’m ok with them giving Pete his airtime since he’s in the upper echelon of candidates, but the fascination with a promoting Klobuchar is very strange.

Beto's campaign never took flight because of Beto. He allowed himself to get roped into the establishment scene, got rid of the upstart kids who helped him nearly topple Cruz and replaced them with Obama people who he thought were necessary to run a serious national campaign. All he had to do was stick to the policies he ran on against Cruz and keep the same people.

I like how Biden's idea how of to explain his vision is to evoke the space race. What's next? Reconstruction? That'll really resonate with the kids.

Medicare For All will take center stage again.Its difficult to see Biden and any of the others coming up with something better than Sanders and Warren's plans.
All they can say is 'It is too expensive'.

But in spite of all this, the party leadership must be worried that Obama's VP can still win the nomination because of the Southern votes and lose the GE.

Has gabbard qualified?
I didn't think she had (yet)
I believe there is another debate in December and the criteria for qualification is raised agin (so far only Pete Warren Sanders and Biden)
I could see quite a few not qualifying for December (as there have been a few only just scraped in last time and probably this time)
It will then be a case of throwing everything at either Iowa or New Hampshire with adverts and whatever boots on the ground they can afford from any cash on hand
If they don't get a good result there and the resulting coverage and cash boost it's time to drop out.

I listened to pod save and they suggested bidens people are not worried if he does not perform well in Iowa, New Hampshire and even Nevada as they think he will walk south Carolina and that will set him up for a big super Tuesday... Seems a brave strategy to me as he could loose a lot of momentum before then with bad results... I think they should pick either Nevada or new Hampshire and blitz it to try and keep momentum

But realistically we could be down to 4 candidates by super Tuesday... And if not surely will be afterwards (I believe California is included in the super Tuesday this time so it's got even more significance than normal)

So yeah expect the next debate to be people taking shots at Biden as they scramble to stay relevant

And of course if Hillary is going to enter (I'm not sure she will but if Biden totally collapsed and there was a gap in the race then who knows ) then I suspect early Jan is the latest she could leave it

One thing is for sure in 100 days time things will be a lot clearer

I think she needs one more favorable poll to qualify. In either case, the Dec bar is even higher so I'm expecting the bottom feeder desperados to make last gasp attempts at remaining relevant before the holidays kick in.

Trump obviously feared Biden, otherwise he wouldn't have attempted to extort the Ukrainians for dirt on him.

Meh... I wouldn't be surprised if we was digging for dirt in any of the candidates

Actually let me rephrase that... Id genuinely be shocked if he didn't have people trying to dig up dirt on all of the democratic candidates and their families
