2018 US Elections

For the senate race, the recount will be done by hand.

Great news. Won’t be surprised if Guillem wins by a clear point without electronic shenanigans.

I bet we have very different interpretations of the key word in that sentence.

Sinema update: Leads by 28,688.

AZ expects turnout to approach 65%. Count currently stands at 57.44%

McSally needs to win all subsequent ballots by at least 10 points and probably more.

I mean is this race really that interesting? Sinema votes with Trump more than 60% of the time, basically a Republican.

The Dems need as many Dems to maintain their numbers

Yes, but the end result is she votes with Trump more often than not. Not much use being a Dem in name only. Probably wont make much of a difference to the Senate whoever wins this race.

You pretty much have to run to the center to win in AZ. The guy who ran for Dem Gov this cycle ran as a liberal/progressive and got hammered by Ducey.

Well that may have been something I overlooked. I guess incremental change is better than none.

It's better than 97.8%

Also, according to Ballotpedia Sinema voted 90% withh the Democrats in 2013 and 80% with Democrats in 2014. Not that the Dem platform was wondrous or anything but it seems like she's the sort of politician that sniffs the wind.

Sinema would probably be more to the left than Joe Manchin in all fairness. Would take what she says on the campaign trail with a grain of salt.

What a great set of results. The house, 7 governorships & tons of state house and senate seats. The icing on the cake would have been wins for Beto, Stacy & Gillum (I think both the governorships will remain republican after the recount). The senate was always a long shot, and will remain so for the next couple of elections.

The fecking republicans and the fecking doom mongers can do one. The end is nigh for Trump & the republicans. 2 more years of this nonsense (although I think he'll resign before that), and we can get back to normal.

If anyone wants to see Trump’s concession in 2020 then check out his 2016 Iowa caucus concession after Lyin’ Ted beat him there. 2020 would simply be a more intense and delusional version that will feature his victimhood grievances, cheating by his opponent, and general lashing out against everyone but himself.

Lets fecking do it cnut. And when Mueller and the SDNY begin criminal proceedings against you for fraud, breaking election finance rules and money laundering for the Russian mob then by law Pelosi should be president until 2020.

I find the fact that none of the ‘librul elite media’ is zeroing in GEOTUS’s public attempt to invalidate an election very unnerving.
