2016 US Presidential Elections | Trump Wins

Well it appears that one of the stories Rick Wilson was alluding to might have dropped! Trump has serious ties to the Russian's and had an email server set up to talk directly to a Russian bank.

Now what was he talking about people and email servers? Hmmmmmmmmmmm, I wonder.

Interesting read, but I'm skeptical it'll gain much traction.

Lifelong Republican. Currently unaffiliated.

Fwiw, I don't believe that if his actions were politically motivated, they were to help Don elected, more likely case is he bet on Clinton winning anyway but help downballot Rs by ginning up enthusiasm amongst R and R-leaning voters.
You're being very kind to him. My first thought was that it was a deliberate move to try and stop HC winning the Pres. But I'm not American so I could easily be way off here.

Don't know how the rubublican establishment feels about the KGB effectively taking over the party.

It's quite incredible that the Republicans of all parties are now being linked to Russia.

The way Trump has shifted the appeal bases of both parties in this election has been really interesting to observe. Obviously both parties retain large parts of their core bases but suddenly he's trying to appear to be the outsider, anti-establishment figure that's pally with Putin, despite being in a party that are probably opposed to that on a massive scale.

So do you reckon this is one of the bombs he was talking about? If not, there's at least TWO stories on Drumpf that could be dropped any minute, unless he's just talking pure shit that is.

He's holding cards close to his chest whether this is or not, not replying to anyone's replies to these tweets.

Yeah, I've tweeted him twice recently asking when the stories are due to drop and again tonight if this was one of them and he's not replied. Last week he said to me (and some others) that it was up to the editors and Dem leaders when they were going to publish the stories so he couldn't say.

I hope it's not just some massive wind up from him, but I can't see why or what he would gain from that, AND he's been pretty adamant that the Dems and the press both know and have two huge stories on Trump. However, I can't see why the Dems in particular would be keeping two huge stories so close to the election, especially after what has gone on this weekend, you would have thought they would want at least one out there to dominate the news cycle.

@Rado_N (and anyone else in the UK) have you been watching US Election: The Circus on Sky? It's been brilliant so far, last week was outstanding and this week is very good too. Seeing Obama in tears at Beau Bidens Funeral, feck, made me well up too. Joe has to deal with more shit than anyone should ever have to deal with, the man is an absolute hero. Obama was right 8 years ago when he said he was picking the best ever Vice President.

Still disappointed he never went for the top job, would've absolutely pissed over Trump this election.

If they can provide actual evidence of him having ties with Russia, Texas is again possible. For all of r/theDonald's talk about treason, this would be an actual fellony.

No doubt they'll try to frame it as him promoting good international relations!

I was thinking the other week about when the ideal time would be to drop the final oppo hit, should it exist (it was a slow day). The coming Wednesday and Friday were the two I came up with. Though I'm not convinced anything is prepared to be honest, it's more a hope than expectation.

In a normal election a week before would probably be perfect to give everything time to sink in by the weekend, but in this one it feels like it's moving at a ridiculous pace, so yeah, Wednesday may be ideal. If there's two revelations, one on Wednesday and one on Friday.

When everyone says they will miss Obama, I think they should really be saying they miss Joe too. What a duo they have been. Biden has been the perfect sidekick for Obama and I honestly think they are both genuinely lovely people. I know you can't ever be really sure until you meet someone, but with those two I beg to differ. They both wear their hearts on their sleeves and are exactly what you see. Two of the finest gentlemen in world politics. America and Americans should feel extremely honoured and blessed to have had them in charge for 8 years. And with Liz Warren and Bernie, well, that's 4 of the greatest Democrats of modern times right there. I only wish we had 4 equivalents here in the UK at the moment. :(

Well Rick Wilson has been alluding to two huge stories for a while now, and it's not just him, others have said the same too. I just hope he's right and it's not just wishful thinking or a massive wum.

Yeah, I'm very wary of appraising major politicians too highly because a lot of the time what we see is just an image they project. Obama's a prime example: I like him, and he's a suave, cool bastard, but I'm not sure how much of that is him, and how much is a well-managed image...especially since if you asked me to talk about his policies in-depth, I'd probably struggle, or outright fail. I do like him though, and he seems to be a likable person in general. Biden's the same by extension...obviously less in the limelight, but comes across very, very well...far less corrupt and slimy than Clinton is, but probably more moderate and would've been a more secure choice than Sanders.

FBI saying they won't complete the investigation before the election and there will be no update from Comey until the review is complete.

Just watching a programme and his sister said Joe had a choice, either spend the last 9 months of his sons life with him and near him, or run for President. It's not really a choice when you look at it like that. Apparently Beau wanted his dad to run, but Joe took the painful choice to not do it. I doubt it's something he will ever regret either, although it may have cost America a truly great President, he can never be blamed or criticised for not running.

Well we should know one way or the other by the weekend at least. I'm hoping something does because seeing the emails control coverage is not my ideal for what the final week would look like.

Also as a bonus, here's what remains the finest Biden tweet

Yeah, absolutely the humane move for him.

 The best part is he's not wrong either.

The clinton camp's knowing what wikileaks has might be a factor in any oppo drop.

Still amazes me that his response to this is "yeah I abused the system, because I knew I could get away with it". Obviously someone people should be handing executive power to.

And his supporters think he's going to change the system for them, he's avoided helping anyone but himself his whole life.

As far I can remember is legal to deduct our losses when doing taxes like the clintons did, the problem here is the amount he lost compared with the Clintons.
No, that's not the problem. He pushes the envelope to the extreme. And of course calls other non payers freeloaders and even goes after people paying over 20%. He's one of the most disgusting human beings on the planet and deserves to lose everything.

Can you imagine his Presidential library? Just endless copies of "The Art of the Deal" (Presidential edition, naturally).

It's starting to gain some traction.....

At the risk of being called an establishment stooge, motherjones isn't what I'd call a bastion of the free press.

Blackmailing sounds like a Die Hard plot. So 3 years ago Russian intelligence knew he'd run for prez (ok, likely), vanquished 16 opponents in the Republican primary (hmmm) and face Clinton (likely) with emails trouble (hmm).

Anyway, I don't think his fans and reluctant backers can be deterred by this. There needs to be at least ground for prosecution.

Think the above would have to be true for it to blow up, a little bit like how the Machado stuff seemingly prepared the ground for the pussygate stuff. At the moment it's too full of ifs and buts.
