They must be pretty desperate to launch a smear that threadbare.

I went onto that AMA expecting to be amused, but I'm just kinda finding it sad and fairly depressing how much glee the people there are taking in Barack and his brother now being more estranged.

I must say this 'Trump is a manchurian candidate for Russia' is a bit far fetched. Is it true that Russia and Putin would like to have Donald Trump as the President? Of course, but to suggest this is some kind of a planned Russian move planned 5 years in advance is not just stupid, it's outlandish.

The Clinton campaign are really going full Bill Clinton on Comey. They are throwing the full play book at him, hopefully he survives this. The problem with dragging civil servants into politics.
Come Friday the spotlight will be right back on Trump. Her main surrogates strike with precession when on the attack and care less about casualties. Might not yield the desired outcome but honestly it's politics at its surgical best.
Understandable why republicans hate them, they've mastered the art of burying people. Yay ya ya.

Once it again it is amazing to me that the "liberals" are now the ones trying to link their political rivals to Russia.

Well, Hillary is such a corrupt untrustworthy person and is such a poor candidate that the Dems don't want to fight this election based on issues. So they want to link Trump with Russia and so on. It helps that Trump is such a horrible candidate as well. This election is not being fought on issues that affect ordinary Americans. They should be getting more for the taxes they pay. What the country's foreign policy is going to be for the coming years really needs to be discussed. It's not though. That article in The Atlantic on the Obama doctrine was good. His critical pragmatic way of looking at issues will be missed.

Do you truly believe Trump has the edge on policies?

You like Sanders for being true to his ideology and praise Obama for being pragmatic? If you are looking for a pragmatic option, should be voting for Clinton, no?

I never said that. I said Hillary is bad when it comes down to policies. She's better than Trump on policies but they are still bad policies for someone running for President. Anyone would look better than Trump. He's a complete fool and an absolute joke. She's fortunate to be running against a weak candidate like him. For example on climate change, she's boasted about spreading and promoting fracking all around the world as Secretary of State. It's a horrible thing to do, but compared to Trump who wants to rip up the Paris agreement, she's obviously better. Being better than Trump doesn't make her policies good. Even a dead pig has better policies than Donald Trump.

Hillary is not 'pragmatic'. It's just an election ploy. She presents one face to the public and another face in private. Nothing of what she is saying now while campaigning will actually happen if she wins. Read the article I linked. She'll say anything to win. She won't improve healthcare, college education or the economy. She'll be controlled by her own agenda and special interests. Why should she work to bring about single payer universal healthcare when she takes money from the pharmaceutical industry and health insurance companies? Lobbyists rule DC.

She's far more pragmatic than either Bernie or Obama, who are both idealists.

Either way America is in for four years of total shit. Thankfully neither of them have a prayer of getting a second term.

Oh what am I saying now, of course they fecking do. This is America we're talking about.

Just assumed you were saying her campaign avoids policy discussions because she can't match Trumps. I know Trump surrogates use this specific line "let's talk about the issue" but I keep hoping a moderator will just ask them what issues and give us a breakdown of how they'll be addressed.
I don't mind not being on the same side on all issues but she is shown herself capable of looking at the facts when presented and reevaluate her stance if need be. Her lifes work has always been on welfare of women and children, if we're being critical that's what we should be looking to pick holes at.

Misunderstood you.

I feel bad for asking for updates but I'll do it anyway seeing as different sources say different things!

How much do the FBI investigations hurt Hilary now? BBC has her as 49% to 46% (Trump). The gap was far wider so it suggests a cause for concern.

And, does the FBI Chief have much to worry about from his end? Seems like wreckless timing for such a public accusation and would expect to seem him punished.

Obama has expressed his trust in Comey's judgement and integrity. More troubling is assistant attourney general Kadzik's relation to the Clintons and especially Podesta.

Unless there is incriminating stuff in the emails they recovered, i think its likely he will end up resigning after the investigation has ended.

If Clinton wins , then she wont force him out especially during the investigation as that would look bad on her part.

Its really impossible to predict given the strange detour we've taken over the past few days. Prior to that I was looking at a 323-215 Hillary win. Now I'm looking at something closer to the 287-251 range with Trump possibly taking Florida. If Hillary wins Florida, then it will be something like 316-222.

If Trump does win then it will be something like 270-268 with NH tipping the balance. He may have an outside chance at Colorado and Michigan as well, but thats very low percentage.
Do Trump voters not care about his sexual escapades? Or do they not believe the claims? Or are his other policies higher in their hierarchy of needs?

Unless Clinton totally shits herself, she will likely get a second term mainly owing to the fact that demographics of the electorate is rapidly changing with a larger hispanic and minority voter base who the Republicans have managed to turn into Democrats and more importantly because people don't like change and usually tend to vote for a known devil than any unknown angel. The Republican primaries next time will be the same circus as this year as they aren't fixing themselves anytime soon.

Some would vote for anyone besides the one they think is a socialist and is gunna take away thur guns.

I would say a big concern for those who dont want Trump would be those who are keeping silent. Many will not admit that they intend to vote for Trump for fear of being branded a racist. That could bump him up a point or two

They don't care. He could be caught child molesting and many of them would still vote for him. They just want a far-right white man in the White House who will give license to their racist, homophobic, xenophobic, misogynist and nationalistic views.

A statement like that makes both of them seem like equals. Either way America is in for four years of total shit, or four years of shit so unbelievably bad they'll likely be a laughing stock of the world. There's still a notable difference.

I'm dreading the worse. Like watching United going out thinking they have a chance at the Bridge then getting thumped 4-0. This may come down to how the western states fall as Trump may have the early night lead.

Looks like we have a refugee from the Bernie movement in da house. What's up Bro !? :)

Isn't it safe to assume that Trumps numbers are false since many voters are ashamed to be voting for him and this can't come across in the polls?
Also are the Republicans coming back round to Trump when there is now a chance he can win?

It's no less safe to assume his numbers are false than it is to assume "many voters are ashamed" to admit they are voting for him.

Judging by FB the Trump crowd is the most vocal followed by remnants of the Bernie populism. I have my doubts over a sizeable number of silent Trump voters. Perhaps a few but hopefully not enough to swing a GE vote. If anything perhaps Hillary has a large silent voting population as I rarely see FB posts backing Hillary granted that's likely connected to my region and majority of family/friends aligning with the GOP.
