"People don't know how great you are. People don't know how smart you are. These are the smart people. These are the smart people. These are really the smart people.
"And they never like to say it, but I say it. And I'm a smart person. These are the smart. We have the smartest people. We have the smartest people. And they know it.
"Some say it, but they hate to say it, but we have the smartest people."
And another one down..
A load of crap what you wrote there about me. I'm not a Trump supporter and I hardly defend the guy. I refuse to believe a US president can start nuking countries whenever he pleases and that counts for every candidate out there. You wanna argue that Trump is prone to high-stress situations? I don't disagree! But the US nuking anyone in the next 4/8 years is just so unrealistic. This has all been wonderfully amusing, but one has to remember what is at stake here. It's a position where mere words can have significant ramifications to the global geopolitical landscape. As soon as one engages their brain within any such practical, progressive context, it is evident that Trump is quite certainly the worst canidate for US president, we have ever seen. And this is taking into consideration the global village idiot that was George W Bush.
Alas, his inability to operate within the nuances of international diplomacy is not enough for the uneducated and ignorant masses of this country. Instead we are having to rely on the litany of inappropriate and sexually aggressive comments he has made in the past. This speaks greatly to the small minded, dangerous, and bigoted uprising that is occurring across the United States.
I've seen posters, @VorZakone being one, trying to turn his potential election into a rational argument. Stretching the limits of logical reasoning to defend a man that is not only wholly unfit, but frankly downright dangerous, to hold political office. Let alone the most influential one in the world. Such people deserve to live in their own little world where a certain Donald J. Trump is president for life.
A significant point that is glossed over by such Trump supporters, or perhaps just not understood by their ethically and intellectually challenged brains, is that you don't just judge a potential president by how they might act in times of relative tranquility, but how they might react under stress. I would say that one of the primary qualifications required for President, is a very high degreee of emotional intelligence. A quality conspicuous by its absence amongst Trump campaigners, supporters, and the man himself.
Let's just imagine Donald Trump in charge during the Cuban missile crisis, or amidst scaling tensions with Iran or China. Let's try and picture Trump trying to build an international coalition to launch overseas military action, including the need to use airbases in foreign territories. Yes, like me, if your brain is working, you are inwardly laughing, because the man is pathologically incapable of building consensus. This doesn't make America stronger, it makes it weaker and look stupider.
Lord knows I'm no great fan of Clinton, but the thought of comparing her to him is incomprehensible. If she had even one of his scandals against her name, she'd be finished. It's as though Trumps' spectacular ignorance has earned him a right to be judged by a much lower standard. And I just cannot fathom why a good chunk of people are ok with that, other than to surmise that they are idiots.
I've rarely worn my politics on my sleeve, because you can't agree with everyone. So much of politics boils down to economics and special interests. Quite frankly, as long as you are not trying to oppress other people's rights, I'm content to leave you alone. But a vote for Trump, or a defense of Trump, is a promotion of bigotry, racism, misogyny, discrimination and inequality - and I will never be quiet about that. So if you support this man, defend this man, or want to vote for this man, quite frankly you are a bigot, racist and misogynist in my book, and I'll have no compunction expressing my disdain for you as a human being.
Here's hoping enough Americans make the right choice.
I've taken the liberty to add to your proposal. I further suggest burkinis to become obligatory beach wear for women in order not to trigger any male locker room banter.
I'm sure rap is the only thing in the music industry or the media/entertainment complex that is sexualized/misogynistic.
When we are at it, probably ban bikinis, tank top and miniskirts as well. The gall of those uppity women, they should be locked out from sight to preserve the dignity of men.
You can distinguish between a presidential candidate and rappers all you want but if you want a society with morals and values you should not condone misogyny in rap because it influences the younger generations of which one of them might turn into the new Donald Trump.
Music influences people you know.
I'm not defending Trump. I don't like him. But I also don't like the hypocrisy involved in all this. You've seriously just jumped on a mindless media strapline and applied no critical thought whatsoever. Are you that desperate to defend Trump?

Michael Moore saying Trump doesn't want to be president at all.
Michael Moore saying Trump doesn't want to be president at all.
I am sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but I gave it to you straight last summer when I told you that Donald Trump would be the Republican nominee for president. And now I have even more awful, depressing news for you: Donald J. Trump is going to win in November. This wretched, ignorant, dangerous part-time clown and full time sociopath is going to be our next president. President Trump. Go ahead and say the words, ‘cause you’ll be saying them for the next four years: “PRESIDENT TRUMP.”
I don't follow Moore. Someone mentioned it on Twitter. The colossal moron who wrote this?

I'm beginning to understand your thought process if this is the sort of people you follow.
When it comes to Schwarzenegger distancing himself from Trump: Agree.I'm not defending Trump. I don't like him. But I also don't like the hypocrisy involved in all this.
So apparently nobody that's worked for him can stand him lolFormer Apprentice producer saying there's far worse tapes out there. They're going to have fun releasing stuff one at a time.
I don't expect too much.Former Apprentice producer saying there's far worse tapes out there. They're going to have fun releasing stuff one at a time.
"The Apprentice" producer Mark Burnett--still thought to be close with Trump--is the one who owns the footage. Requests for comment from his spokespeople were not returned on Saturday.
The Associated Press, which first reported that the cast and crew of the show said Trump would make inappropriate comments during filming, said on Saturday that they have made repeated requests to Burnett to provide the original "The Apprentice" footage for review earlier this year, but that those calls were not returned and neither were follow-up calls this week.

What are you talkng about . A school yard bully getting taken to task. The onlyhhypocrisy is from himI'm not defending Trump. I don't like him. But I also don't like the hypocrisy involved in all this.
There's no hypocrisy about it. You think people like Hilary?I'm not defending Trump. I don't like him. But I also don't like the hypocrisy involved in all this.
I agree that sexism, misogyny and racism should be condemned wherever it occurs. However, the leader of your country having degenerate values is basically a thumbs up/green signal to those values, that lends them legitimacy. Do you want those values to be given legitimacy? Surely, you should be advocating action taken against others rather than almost using them as an excuse for trump.I'm not defending Trump. I don't like him. But I also don't like the hypocrisy involved in all this.

Alec Baldwin is killing it.
Alec Baldwin is killing it.
If people think Hillary is evil then they should emphasize on why she is evil so that we can properly judge both candidates. Now the focus has completely shifted to Trump which is understandable because boy, the man is really making a fool of himself. But let's also properly scrutinize Hillary. There's no hypocrisy about it. You think people like Hilary?
This is simply about choosing the lesser evil.
Few weeks ago, the entire focus was on Clinton and her emails. What's your point? If people think Hillary is evil then they should emphasize on why she is evil so that we can properly judge both candidates. Now the focus has completely shifted to Trump which is understandable because boy, the man is really making a fool of himself. But let's also properly scrutinize Hillary.
It would be a start if you were scrutinizing Trump for his outrageous, dangerous actions apart from misogyny because so far, you have miserably failed to do so.If people think Hillary is evil then they should emphasize on why she is evil so that we can properly judge both candidates. I have only recently started to show interest in the election race so forgive me for not scrutinizing Trump earlier, I condemn everything he said so far including the shit about Mexicans, muslims and women. I have already stated that I am not a Trump-supporter and that I dislike the guy. The main disagreement everyone had with me is that Trump supposedly has the power to just start nuking countries because he either said so or because he's in a bad mood or because the law allows him to (give me a break, nobody will allow Trump to start nuking without a very very very very very good reason). If you guys are that pessimistic about the US' capability to stop a president from going batshit crazy, why the hell even elect one? Who knows what kind of idiots are going to run for president in the future? It's not like the citizens completely filter out all the idiots, because well Trump has a yuge fanbase. It would be a start if you were scrutinizing Trump for his outrageous, dangerous actions apart from misogyny because because so far, you have miserably failed to do so.
Let's start with Trump encouraging Russian (!!!) hackers to hack Clinton's / the Dems' e-mails which they are kind enough to do and found an obedient ally in the Wikileaks founder who leaks them every now and then. I can't wait for your far-fetched defense on this behavior but need to make some popcorn first.
There's no hypocrisy about it. You think people like Hilary?
This is simply about choosing the lesser evil.
The very idea that it has apparently come to a decision between 2 evils is shocking. How could citizens have let it come to that?Or not choosing at all, which is perfectly fine.
She has been scrutinised but newsflash: this forum has a large left wing base so the attention will be mainly on Trump whose ideals are so far away from many of us.If people think Hillary is evil then they should emphasize on why she is evil so that we can properly judge both candidates. Now the focus has completely shifted to Trump which is understandable because boy, the man is really making a fool of himself. But let's also properly scrutinize Hillary.
That there a lot of hypocrites out there. By the way, those rap music videos hit 100M+ views consistently.
The very idea that it has apparently come to a decision between 2 evils is shocking. How could citizens have let it come to that?
There were plenty of crapping on Clinton in this thread throughout the primaries and beyond.
And newsflash: she had/has the most negative coverage out of any candidate this cycle, despite the flaming clownish trainwreck that is Feckface Von Clownstick.
