Don't take all of his comments so literally. Trump would not be allowed to use nukes and he wouldn't himself dare it either.

He's running for one of the most important jobs in the world. You're supposed to take what he says literally, because he's supposed to be telling you the truth about what he intends to do. If he's just talking shit then he should be called out for it, by everybody including his supporters. 'Don't take it literally' is not a valid defence.

Man I wish we'd been in the States a few more days, I'd love to tune in to Fox News right now. This has all broken while I've been travelling so just catching up now, glad to see him going up in flames, hopefully he'll take the GOP with him.

 Of course. Now iam not concerned anymore. Everybody can be calm, we just dont have to take it literally, realy, no problem. The next President is just talking shit. Nothing to worry. I try to imagine what people said 1933 ("no problem, what he says about races and stuff, dont take this literally, and his beard is so cute, he cant be bad i guess").

How in the world can you respond to such statements in such a way? Jesus unbelievable.

He is supposed to. But it's likely to assume he will not do everything he says he'd do. He is talking shit and is called out for it by the way.

Everything Trump said so far he actually meant, and nothing suggests he doesn't mean the nuke comments seriously.
Trump is so narcisstic, full of himself and driven by impulse that he makes Putin, Erdogan and other drunk by their own magnificence politicians look humble, self-critical and carefully thinking their actions through.

He definitely is. But he wouldn't use nukes if he becomes president no matter how much he talks about it. Presidential candidates have spouted crap before, seriously it's nothing new.

I didn't think I'd ever defend trump. But people who say that he is describing sexual assault in the clip are just following an agenda. At no point he claimed to grab them by the pussy (his words, not mine), against the woman's will. Yes, a presidential candidate shouldn't say stuff like this. And yes, it sounds extremely pretentious. Is he objectifiying woman? Probably. But first all sexuality is about objectifying the other sex to a certain extent and second of all, it's still not the same as sexual assault.

I hate it, when people change the facts based on their beliefs.

He's still a cnut.

It doesn't matter if people have done it before, it doesn't make it right. You can't say 'don't take someone advertising themselves as the best fit for one of the biggest jobs in the world literally' that's a really silly statement to make. The problem is him and what he says, not people taking him literally.

I respectfully entirely disagree. Trump is not as any other candidate before. No offense meant but it's fecking naive to think he just talks shit. @slig's references to the 30ies of last century might sound far fetched but in fact: They are not. Trump has always done the unthinkable, same on nukes. He's relying on people playing it down.

Trump has apparently several severe psychological disorders. He shouldn't be anywhere near running for any public position, most definitely not for President / Commander in Chief.

You guys understand me slightly wrong. I am not condoning his statements, just that in the case of him becoming president there is no way he would actually use nukes. No matter what he said. Come on guys, nukes haven't been used since the 40s in combat and you genuinely think Donald Trump would be allowed to use nukes in 2016? So why would he talk about nukes, right? Because he's a moron who will happily spout crap in order to impress.

I love her. She's direct and cuts through the bullshit regarding Trump to his surrogates.

Love how she buried the Trump surrogate to the ground, already drowning in the sea of her own hypocrisy at the very mention of the the 'P' word, 3.40 in.
The whole time the Scottie woman is wearing a crucifix. Yeah... Go evangelicals! Defend the perv!

By saying 'don't take him literally' you are shifting the responsibility from him, to the general public. If they take him literally then somehow it is their fault. The shit he spouts is 100% his fault, he is supposed to speak literally. If someone does take him literally then it's not that persons fault. It's Donalds. You should be expected to take everything that he says literally, because it's how you decide whether this person is best suited to running the country or not based on his promises, and the proposals that he puts forward.

I'm not seeing a whole lot of consent here...
“I’ve got to use some Tic Tacs, just in case I start kissing her,” Trump says. “You know I’m automatically attracted to beautiful — I just start kissing them. It’s like a magnet. Just kiss. I don’t even wait.”

“And when you’re a star, they let you do it,” Trump says. “You can do anything.”

“Whatever you want,” says another voice, apparently Bush’s.

“Grab them by the p---y,” Trump says. “You can do anything.”

He would do it without blinking an eye as a response to let's say Angela Merkel's sympathetic recommendation for him to get a proper haircut at her coiffeur next time he stops in Berlin.

On a more serious note, Trump either doesn't win the election, problem solved. Or he's taken out by one of America's services, problem solved, too. Trump is seriously crazy. He's unable and / or unwilling to foresee any consequence of any of his actions, not the most obvious ones. That's why he would absolutely use nukes.

I agree he's just spouting shit to his target audience but at the end of the day who goes against a presidential command to fire a missile? See Hilary's latest ad?

Doesn't the two man rule exist to stop people like Trump from launching a nuke on his own? He'd require the Secretary of Defense's support. The only way it could happen is if his entire team and cabinet also agree with the decision.

Have you seen the lapdogs he surrounds himself with?

Who appoints the SecDef?

And regardless of that, the two man rule applies to missile silos and submarines. There is, as far as we know, no check on the president's authority to order a nuclear attack.

he even says "they let you do it."
that's the definition of consent.

It feels like the Dems have carefully coordinated the list of material to batter Trump with as each debate grows nearer. I don't know if that's the case or not (taxes for the last debate, the tape for this one), but I'm loving it.

Trump will always claim that women let him do it although they scream, shout and punch him. He considers himself God's gift to women.
