Bernie did the same U-Turn. That's how these career politicians surf through life.
Bernie and Hilary's primary battle never got particularly negative compared with Cruz and Trump or Rubio and Trump.

Amarosa has threatened to send him to the Phantom Zone and his wife and daughters to Endor who will be force to weave hairpieces for Overlord Trump from Ewok ball fluff.Ted must be worried about Emperor Trump. Or perhaps he's feeling pressure in Texas for his seat.
It would be interesting to how many actual like the political ideas Bernie was talking about and how many as you said simply liked him because of clean and honest image. Have the same worry with Corbyn over here, that a lot of people like because he's appears honest and makes he's own jam.Yes, I agree. It's purely "what can hurt the person who hurt Bernie" for some of them, so a (thankfully small) number have gone to Trump. Then you have the "clean and honest" stuff which could send them to Johnson or Stein. Only true believers would pick Stein, and that number is really small too, which is sad.
The media are finally pulling their fingers out and having a closer look at this.....

Can we trust Yahoo? They let the Russians get all our passwords, after all...

I get the feeling the whole Bernie moment might just fade out sadly.
Stein's not exactly like-for-like Bernie either, given her anti-vax and homeopathy flirtations.

Clinton recently said that as president, she would close any public school “that wasn’t doing a better than average job.”
I didn't catch this during the primaries...
Isn't this the same profound maths skills that a Tory ex-minister was ripped to pieces for?
The celebs have spoken. Do these things help at all?
I think his father lend him a million dollars and he used the money to build apartments or houses in ny, until that point he wasn't a millionaire.According to Eric his father "started with just about nothing" and became a successful real estate mogul.
He was quickly reminded that his father was already a millionaire before entering the business sector. On Fox nonetheless!

..He also inherited the entire family business. He was born into wealth.I think his father lend him a million dollars and he used the money to build apartments or houses in ny, until that point he wasn't a millionaire.
It's funny watching some of The Young Turks segments about him. According to them he's more or less failed at every business venture he's ever tried on his own, has had to have others (including his own father) bail him out on several occasions and lies constantly about the true extent of his own personal wealth which by all accounts is a relative faction of what he claims it to be.
Of course YTY have their own 'agenda' one might say. Doesn't mean it isn't true of course.
That was only tens of millions though. Barely anything. I mean, I inherited far more and squandered it all. Easily done...He also inherited the entire family business. He was born into wealth.
Is it true he'd be worth more now if he simply invested in an index tracking fund? That was only tens of millions though. Barely anything. I mean, I inherited far more and squandered it all. Easily done.

Its partially true. He would be worth roughly the same amount starting from the early 80s until today. As would anyone else who just put their money in the S&P and constantly reinvested all dividends.
We subjected every statement made by both the Republican and Democratic candidates – in speeches, in interviews and on Twitter – to our magazine’s rigorous fact-checking process. The conclusion is inescapable: Trump’s mishandling of facts and propensity for exaggeration so greatly exceed Clinton’s as to make the comparison almost ludicrous.
According to POLITICO’s five-day analysis Trump averaged about one falsehood every three minutes and 15 seconds over nearly five hours of remarks.
