2015 Toyota AFL Premiership Season

I've put my tips in for round three.

Round Three: Winners in bold.
Collingwood v St Kilda
Carlton v Essendon
Adelaide Crows
v Melbourne
Sydney Swans v GWS Giants
North Melbourne v Port Adelaide
Brisbane Lions
v Richmond
Hawthorn v Western Bulldogs
Geelong Cats v Gold Coast Suns
West Coast vs Fremantle

Round 3 Tips:

Collingwood v St. Kilda
Carlton v Essendon
Adelaide
v Melbourne
Sydney v GWS
North Melbourne v Port Adelaide
Brisbane v Richmond
Hawthorn
v Western Bulldogs
Geelong v Gold Coast
West Coast v Fremantle

Much talk about when Geelong's era finished. When does the Caf feel it finished? I'd go with 2013 Preliminary Final. That year I think they tried to squeeze one more flag out of their team, but when Hawthorn beat them in the prelim, that wasn't just the night the Kennett curse finished, but perhaps when Geelong's era ended.

I think it's done, and has been for a few seasons now - if we are talking about them as a viable Premiership threat.

Their finals record since their last Premiership is abysmal, and they are now going to have to go through a transition phase with Bartel, Johnson, Lonergan, Enright, Mackie, Taylor, McIntosh all nearing the end/in their last season.

Collingwood v St. Kilda
Carlton v Essendon
Adelaide
v Melbourne
Sydney v GWS
North Melbourne v Port Adelaide
Brisbane v Richmond
Hawthorn
v Western Bulldogs
Geelong v Gold Coast
West Coast v Fremantle

A pretty straight forward round tbh.

Collingwood v St. Kilda
Carlton v Essendon
Adelaide
v Melbourne
Sydney v GWS
North Melbourne v Port Adelaide
Brisbane v Richmond
Hawthorn v Western Bulldogs
Geelong v Gold Coast
West Coast v Fremantle

Tip Tally after round two:

@Cooksen - 12
CM - 12
@Mitchell Nicholas - 8
@Archie Leach - 9
@Flying Fox - 9 (gave you 5 for round one)

Week-by-week count:
Cooksen:..........6 - 6 -
CM:.................7 - 5 -
Mitch Nicholas:..4 - 4 -
Archie Leach:....5 - 4 -
Flying Fox:.......5 - 4 -

Is it too late to join this? I can't promise I will remember to submit them every week though. I have 10 so far in all my other tipping competitions but I don't mind starting with equal bottom (or zero, I guess...)

All good man I'll put you in with 10, just put up your tips for this week.

@Flying Fox - i gave you 5 for round one, but if you were doing a tipping comp elsewhere then I'll use that number.

Cheers. This round I have gone:

Collingwood v St. Kilda
Carlton v Essendon
Adelaide
v Melbourne
Sydney v GWS
North Melbourne v Port Adelaide
Brisbane v Richmond
Hawthorn v Western Bulldogs
Geelong v Gold Coast
West Coast v Fremantle

Carlton still winless, but kept the scoreboard somewhat respectable even that won't make Mick happy.

Port Adelaide win for the first time this season. Shame I let my heart rule my head in the other game. I'd have five from five for today.

Geelong at the third time of asking have won a game. Geelong winners 105-96.

7/9 for me. Let my dislike of Collingwood and my heart rule my head in the Lions game.

9/9 for me. The GC v Cats game was good, I've got to give the Cats credit for that win.

Also Luke Hodge is just winding back the clock this season.

Round 4
Richmond v Melbourne
St. Kilda v Carlton
Essendon
v Collingwood
GWS v Gold Coast
Port Adelaide v Hawthorn
Fremantle v Sydney
Brisbane v West Coast
Geelong

Western Bulldogs v Adelaide

Some cracking matches this round, hard to tip. A lot of away wins I think.

Assuming your predictions are the team in capitals.

Big game for us against Port. It's only early but the difference between 3-1 and 2-2 seems massive.

Found Port vs Hawthorn the toughest to predict. Eventually after much deliberation went with the Hawks.

Great win for the Demons, Richmond never looked like winning tonight.
