Also whoever designed Hawthorn's clash kit better not be working on Man Uniteds kit for next season.

You have got Freo and Geelong in bold? Not picking a draw surely?

GWS vs Melbourne will be fascinating. Port vs Sydney is the match of the day for obvious reasons, Richmond vs the Bulldogs will hopefully be a good game. Doggies have been impressive under Beveridge, and if the Tigers want to push up the 8, this is one of those games they really should be winning.

So tigers fans, is it time for the memberships to go in the microwave? Demons were leading 45-18 at half time and the Giants have gone on a scoring rampage.

I picked the giants to win, got the eagles result right like I think everybody on this thread did. Didn't see the dogs winning.

Josh Bruce getting 6 goals you ripper.

Great game by the Saints hopefully that gives us a boost to avoid the spoon

Collingwood for the Saints next Friday night in what I think is very winnable for your boys.

I know it's only two games in, but I can't help but think the Gold Coast Suns should have appointed Mark Thompson as coach.

Adelaide look really good this season, they have some fantastic core of players in Sloan, Dangerfield, Talia, Smith, Jacobs and the big Texan. All are stars.

On a another note - I'll all up on the Bontapelli bandwagon like no other. He's the new Kouta/Fyfe with better skills. The kid is a sensation and he's only in his second season... Seriously 193cm players shouldn't be able to move like he does.

What a win for Essendon over the Hawks. Two goals in the last two minutes to beat Hawthron 12.6 78 to 11.10 76.

Hopefully Dunstall takes the loss well when he hosts "Bounce" later on. Lions are so frustrating. Young side yes, but it's annoying that they're giving opponent do big starts. Collingwood last week, North Melborune tonight.

Well, that sucked. We were poor for too long and it could have been a lot worse. But to then lose it after being 3 goals up is really annoying. Losing these games can be the difference between a home qualifying final or travelling to Sydney/Perth.

Hawthorn vs Essndon

Winners in bold, home teams on the left. Only picking one away win. Don't feel Geelong can be as bad again.

I only got four right last week just like round one.

Gary Ablett has been ruled out indefinitely by the Suns. Their record without him is bad, so there might be more pain on the way for the Suns.

Does anyone here actually play locally?

Had my first game on the W/E after making my way down to a whole single training session throughout pre-season... The second half of the session too. I have to admit that I regret being lazy now.

I did during my teen years.

I played on Patton and he destroyed me.

Played auskick in 2003, and in 2008 HPE. HPE Aussie Rules was annoying. AFL in zones it was. It was shite.

Only played when I was younger (like through the Auskick and then under 8s/10s etc etc). Stopped when I got to high school, but ran out for a game a few years ago cause a local team was short on numbers. Got about 12 touches and we got thrashed. Didn't really enjoy it so I have stuck with the round ball football since.

Round Three: Winners in bold.
Collingwood v St Kilda
Carlton v Essendon
Adelaide Crows v Melbourne
Sydney Swans v GWS Giants
North Melbourne v Port Adelaide
Brisbane Lions v Richmond
Hawthorn v Western Bulldogs
Geelong Cats v Gold Coast Suns
West Coast vs Fremantle

Tip Tally after round two:

@Cooksen - 12
CM - 12
@Mitchell Nicholas - 8
@Archie Leach - 9
@Flying Fox - 9 (gave you 5 for round one)
@ZDwyr - 10

Week-by-week count:
Cooksen:..........6 - 6 -
CM:.................7 - 5 -
Mitch Nicholas:..4 - 4 -
Archie Leach:....5 - 4 -
Flying Fox:.......5 - 4 -
ZDwyr:

Sorry about the formatting - it was all aligned on my work PC but looking at this on my phone it's all out of whack.

Much talk about when Geelong's era finished. When does the Caf feel it finished? I'd go with 2013 Preliminary Final. That year I think they tried to squeeze one more flag out of their team, but when Hawthorn beat them in the prelim, that wasn't just the night the Kennett curse finished, but perhaps when Geelong's era ended.
