2015 Toyota AFL Premiership Season

Big win for Geelong over Collingwood 100-59. They played well for the first half, eased up a bit in the second half. Nowhere near premiership contention this year for me, but finals certainly on the cards for them.

Collingwood are overrated. Beating St Kilda, Carlton, and Brisbane and people were talking about how well Buckley was coaching! That's probably the bottom three teams right there. Glad they got the reality check.

feck this season. Top four probably gone now. A pathetic performance. A few players just aren't hungry enough this season. The less said about a few others the better too...

I still feel hawthorn will get top four. The big problem is that in week one of the finals, I think Hawthorn will have a trip to Fremantle or the Adelaide Oval to play Port and that'd be awfully tough.

To be honest I wouldn't mind playing Port in Adelaide. At our best I have no doubt we could win. We just don't seem up for it this year though. I think other sides have figured out the way to beat us too. I'll be on the Freo bandwagon if we don't make it, would love to see Pavlich get a flag.

I didn't expect WADA to come over the top and appeal, but personally I am glad that they have made this decision. What do others think about it?

I play for my local team and our games start at 2:15pm, so by I can't go this weekend... I won't even be able to watch it. What about you?

I expect a huge response from them after last week's embarrassment of a performance.

This week is pretty even... I can only see Essendon or Richmond realistically upsetting the apple cart here.

Yeah I'll be there. Most of my friends are Demons supporters and they're getting very cocky after a couple of jammy wins so I'm looking forward to ripping them apart tomorrow.

Cocky demons supporters, they must be very rare to find.

Also Richo confirmed that we are in for Sloane and my inner muppet is going nuts.

There's a story on the fox website linking John Worsfold with the Carlton job as a replacement to Mick Malthouse.

They're back to being the league's biggest miserabilists so all is well with the world.

7 out of 9 for everyone then? fecking Port are flailing and just another reason to hate Collingwood.

That would be a massive deal if Richo and co. can pull that deal off.

I wonder if Adelaide will end up losing both Sloane and Dangerfield at the one time... That would be devastating blow, especially after losing other guns like Davis, Gunston and Tippett in recent seasons.

Which genius scheduled three Friday night games for Carlton on a Friday night in the first eight rounds? Hawthorn vs Sydney is the match of the round and surely that should be on Friday night?

Pretty sure I heard Malthouse allude to the fact they don't want them as it's embarrassing for them to be smashed on a Friday night when it's the only game on.

If geelong play like they did against collingwood for four quarters, instead of a half, it'll be a big geelong win.

They pick carlton because of the supposed crowds and tv ratings that they bring.

Gillion dropped the ball big time there

Carlton have had poor membership numbers for a while now if I'm not mistaken, and have had average to poor crowd numbers too.

The 'big 4' are no longer. It's the 'traditional 4' now... The new 'big 4' clubs are: West Coast, Adelaide, Collingwood and Hawthorn.

I know, the afl still live in the past when making the fixture.

The doggies dont get a single friday night game and them along with us and North get the dreaded sunday twilight most times.
