Konoplyanka will be a nice bit of business for someone on a free transfer.
 
The Bosman rule is really interesting IMO for the reason that it has completely altered how clubs negotiate contracts and transfers. Previously they'd run down the deals but now they're being renegotiated with multiple years to run as the clubs are terrified they might lose the players under value. I don't think the rule ever intended that it would breed a whole bunch of contracts whose only intent was the preservation of value. Because of that we don't generally see top players leave on a Bosman because, just like RvP, the threat of them leaving for nothing is so strong that it has now become the default negotiating position.

Oddly enough, if we lose De Gea this summer having lost Pogba on a free previously, we'll probably be one of the teams to have lost most, in terms of potential transfer fees.

Didn't realise Carrick was out of contract. Knew most of the others; quite glad Adebayor's is coming in the summer. Actually did well for us given he cost £5m but it's all got a little difficult in recent months.

I just did what the OP did and looked at transfermarkt. Usually they're pretty good (especially when it comes to German players) but guess they've not updated him.

They have, it's just they list the loan as a separate contract and his loan's up this summer. Same as with M'Villa on the list.

Ah, thanks. I was thinking the M'Vila one was weird too.

Adebayor will start scoring goals for fun until he wins himself a new contract, as usual.
 
I'm concerned we'll sign Milner, despite no rumours of it happening.
 
Happy with Sami Khedira, Abate even some talented wingers like Ayew, konoplyanka and Dzsudzsak (highly rated him when he was at PSV)
