Dr. Dwayne
Self proclaimed tagline king.
Does Filip the idiot have an heir yet?
Does Filip the idiot have an heir yet?
Yes, just in time to die. But Stephen Dr. Dwayne (14) is 1-2-6. So equally dumb, but very good at war.
It's alright you can always balance it again by giving me a couple million gold
That's all that matters. I need to crush Brandenburg and the Teutons. Oh and also take Lubeck, apparently.
Are you guys playing or just watching it unfold?
From memory you know until about the height of about the azores if I remember it correctly (right at the start). But if everyone's going there no one will get a huge advantage from it anyway.Actually all of Western Europe knows about the West coast of Africa (but not to the Gold Coast), so that explains that. I guess it makes sense.
You're allied to the Teutons, you're basically babysitting them.
Cool, if there's a new one, I'm in.Just watching the madness.

If we're lucky I'm re-inspiring people to do these kinds of things, if so there's definitely going to be similar stuff. SilentWitness talked about Crusader Kings for example, then there's Stellaris. I mean hell, maybe Imperator: Rome. Lots of games out there to do these in.
Imperator Rome? I don't think people are that desperate.
Organic Potatoes is in a good spot having found the West Indies. The caribbean is one of the best areas to colonise because of all the trade that you can steer.
. That name.Does Filip the idiot have an heir yet?
I am hoping to use hobbers as an Ottoman. Inshallah!!!I did warn you @Wing Attack Plan R. Hopefully @hobbers will be satisfied by just getting the Ottomans.
Rome is actually a good game now, but it came way too late so died. Anyway they wouldn't have to play it
Can you explain trade steering to the class?
Steer the trade to my welcoming armsFeels so wrong to be cheering on the fact that my country has discovered colonialism. But I'll take it
Not that kind of trade, sir!Streer the trade to my welcoming arms
I would if I could but I can't so I won'tSteer the trade to my welcoming arms
You're following the ivory-bricked road in Western Africa - you're set! I also want slaves. TxI would if I could but I can't so I won't
I would if I could but I can't so I shan't
Wasn’t it you that got destroyed?Ermm what?
Printing Press to start in Venice
I had it coming.A bit on the nose @Andycoleno9, no? Your country is shaped like a literal vulture, faced towards @Denis79.
BTW are you using skanderbeg to compile your stats? It might make it quicker for you to see at a glance the raw data
Big day today
Loving this. Wish I got in early enough to take part, but maybe next time. A few months ago I did a proper playthrough for the first time and had a great time. Played as Castile, formed Spain then took over everything (played on one of the easier difficulties obviously). Was a bit burnt out afterwards, but this thread is tempting me to pick it back up again.
Personally I've always preferred these types of games just in single player where I can really take my time. In theory I love the idea of multiplayer but in practice I'm just too much of a perfectionist who agonises over every little thing. It's good fun in multiplayer too. The diplomacy, the alliances, the intrigue.. the backstabbing.

@nimic have i made it to Mexico yet?
I stopped running it last night right after I discovered that you guys were making it anywhere. Nobody has started colonizing the New World yet, but it will be you and/or @Organic Potatoes for sure. The others will be able to do a bit of colonizing in North Africa, but you two are the only ones who chose Exploration as your third idea group.
