Its dead guys, just let it go.

If we get him, I'll be quite happy. If we don't then its not the end of the world. I would much rather get Schneirderlin signed up first.
All this rubbish about "the window isn't even open yet" and "months till the season starts"
Firstly, Depay is already confirmed so the window being open is irrelevant and secondly...
We go on tour in a few weeks and Van Gaal wants players signed by then. By the end of the window last summer we were already 10 points behind Chelsea and the league title was all but over for us. We don't want a repeat of that.
I was joking - its silly season after all. It's fishy from the beginning but there is nothing to suggest that it's dead or that it was alive. Bayern were supposed to be in front and then out of the blue no one wants him in Bavaria, he was supposed to be Barcelona main midfield target and now he is there third choice behind Pogba and Verratti.
But he is also supposed to be announced in Catalonia every two days.
If we had genuine interest and he wanted to come here I reckon it'd be done already. Either he's not our first choice or we're not his.
Well according to Sky a month or so ago we'd already signed him, it's been pretty clear the past month he's available. Things have changed now.To be honest I don't follow the logic, every summers most players go on holiday and sign after the holidays, why would it be different this year? And I would add that a player like Gundogan who seems to be negotiating with several clubs won't take a quick decision and will most likely choose to take his time.
The silly season will begin next week, when the players will begin to comeback from their holidays.
Yeah, all good pointsPeople are laughing at the claim that because it hasn't already happened, any potential deal is already dead, and I feel it's perfectly justified for that pointing out how much longer there is left for a deal to happen. If teams could sign every single player they wanted before the window opened, then they all would do. The fact that barely any business has been done so far kinda shows that it never works like that. Trying to use the "Depay has already signed so the window is irrelevant" is just as rubbish a claim as any about when the window opens/close etc. There are specific circumstances when a player can sign before a window, and there are circumstances where thats just not going to happen.
What the Depay deal has shown though is that we can go from knowing nothing about a deal to it being basically completed within a couple of days, so it is kinda irrelevant which players have or haven't signed (unless another team have confirmed the purchase of course) before the team meet up for preseason in a month, and is just the impatient muppets on here prematurely self-combusting.

It's like someone too scared to ask if someone loves them or not, as they are dreading the answer. So we will then just live in hope until the transfer windows shuts like a slap in the face. Its dead guys, just let it go.
Well it was more than just paper talk, there was genuine quotes. He wasn't signing a contract and he was more than likely to be sold. That's media talk, a month ago Geis was supposed to be Dortmund bound, now we don't know. A months ago Gundogan had chose Bayern, now he didn't.

Nah, Dortmund CEO Watzke confirmed last month he will be leaving. It was inevitable someone would report it, its pretty much the only variable left for the media to make up.Some reports in Germany that he could stay another year at Dortmund. Maybe for free next year or he is waiting for Barca in January?
People say things all the time.Nah, Dortmund CEO Watzke confirmed last month he will be leaving. It was inevitable someone would report it, its pretty much the only variable left for the media to make up.

You know how things work out during transfer periods. Whats said yesterday must not have a meaning today. If a bid comes in and Gündogan wants to go, than they will sell him. But if Gündogan wants too much money and clubs arent interested, than he will stay and sign for free next year. You are right, Dortmund want to sell, but that doesnt mean that Gündogan is desperate to leave now and lower his demands, he can wait and pick the club next year with money throwed at him.
Yes a myriad of things are said during pre and post season but let's not mix this up with murmurs and crypted statements, this is the CEO categorically saying he will be leaving in the summer. I highly doubt Gundogan will be staying at Dortmund for another season, he won't wait around on the off chance Barca stil want to sign him in a years time. If he is there come September then a pre contract agreement has already been signed with Barca.People say things all the time.
If he is still at Dortmund in October then I fully expect him to be a Barcelona player in January or next summer.

Michael Zorc, Dortmund's director of football, opened up the possibility of him staying through his comments in an interview in kicker magazine yesterday. He basically said that they're open-minded in regards to a Gündogan transfer. Somehow I doubt Gundogan or Barca would be too happy if Dortmund play hardball and refuse to let him play. Someone who's been injured for quite a while and then sit about for a year?Michael Zorc, Dortmund's director of football, opened up the possibility of him staying through his comments in an interview in kicker magazine yesterday. If Gündogan decides to join Barca on a free next year, Dortmund have to keep him in their squad and they'd be stupid to ignore him all season while paying his wages just to prove a point. They're again in a shitty situation.

Why don't we get Kagawa if they wont sell Gundogan or he wants to go elsewhere and actually play him this time? You know, in his real position as well...
Are you serious?
I thought Mad Winger had made a triumphant return to the Caf.Kagawa? Seriously?
Come on.

Mata, Rooney, Firmino, Fellaini, Kagawa all competing for the 10 spot. What could go wrong? Why don't we get Kagawa if they wont sell Gundogan or he wants to go elsewhere and actually play him this time? You know, in his real position as well...

Or we could buy Kagawa and he could be, you know, a massive bollockless disappointment again. In every conceivable position. What to do, what to do...Why don't we get Kagawa if they wont sell Gundogan or he wants to go elsewhere and actually play him this time? You know, in his real position as well...

Could be, we'll see how the situation evolves, if he'll rant about Kagawa in every thread it will mean that's him under a different nick.I thought Mad Winger had made a triumphant return to the Caf.
