Manchester United are continuing to scout Germany midfielder Ilkay Gundogan who is being touted as the next Mesut Ozil.
Gundogan scored twice in FC Nurnberg’s 3-2 win over Werder Bremen at the weekend and the 20-year-old midfielder is valued at around £8m.
Looks like we have been the only team chasing him for a while.

Manchester United are continuing to scout Germany midfielder Ilkay Gundogan who is being touted as the next Mesut Ozil.

Thank god for that. I thought he isn't just injury prone he has Benjamin Button Syndrome as well. Phew.I think thats in response to some other chap saying we were in for him even before he went to Dortmund.

Won the U21 Euros in 2009 (and he was MOTM in the final), Top of the Bundesliga assists chart for 2009-10 season with 17, won DFP Pokal in 08/09 with Werder Bremen, MOTM vs Ghana in 2010 World Cup and had most assists there too. Also won the Bambi Award which is a pretty notable award in Germany.
