What do people expect CEO's to say in this sort of situation? Yeah, he's off, he doesn't want to be here and we're happy to take £22 million for him.
It's in the bag, Sky have their sources and are very rarely wrong. They also posted with such conviction.

If Sky Germany is anything like Sky UK then their sources are other media outlets.

So yesterday we were signing this guy and Depay and now we are not even interested and Depay is going to Liverpool.

And the transfer window is not even open!

What that all about yesterday then, surely something like that can't be pulled out of thin air.

Possible someone leaked it from the German end & United have told Dortmund to deny everything, as they don't want any transfer dealings disrupting anything.
It's way too early for all this transfer stuff anyway!

I don't get that?

I think Dortmund are selling him because don't want another Lewandowski type situation, so IG can more or less negotiate the deal with his own agents. This means Dortmund might have no idea whatsoever about current/ongoing discussions.

Funny how quickly things changed in 24 hours. Last night Depay and Gundogan were nailed on, now we're getting neither and De Gea is leaving.

If you were an idiot you might believe that to be the case. I'll give the lads on the Caf more credit than that.

I feel for the Dortmund fans. Two years just two years they were in the Champions League final with such a bright future. Their team and dreams have disintegrated so much since then.

Hmmm. They went big on Benatia to Utd, they are more sensationalist now.
I agree they're not anywhere near the BBC in terms of reliability but these rumours seem to have more substance than the Benatia ones.

I Knew they'd crumble when they announced the sale of Gotze to Bayern before facing them in the CL final.

All this fuss over a midfielder that may or may not be injury prone, wonder how the Hummels deal would go down.

I'll forfeit my 2015 transfer window rights if this one doesn't go through by September 1st.

Haven't really seen that much of him to be honest. His touch looks shocking in that video though.

an interesting question is whether or not a sealed deal would require them to release an immediate, official statement, due to stock market regulations they're bound to. the €20m transfer of immobile was not deemed as such, for example.

A taxi driver last night told me it's a done deal. Can't argue with that.

Also it's a good job we're finally signing a German lad as I've always thought we needed one in the squad.

I think if we agree terms with them they will announce it. They did with Gotze and they did with Lewandowski as well.
