Gundogan is a risk but I think a risk worth taking, if he stays injury free and regains his pre injury form it'll be a steal and ill be very jealous

Gundogan stuff really has exploded from near nothing. Wasn't linked with us that much, then when he was it was for a bit before outlets said we weren't interested anymore and City was... then this! Wouldn't surprise me if a few signings are like this

Just goes to show that being linked with a player in the papers is completely different than when we actually sign or agree terms with one. Two completely different vibes in the way the transfer unfolds.

If I remember correctly it was a bit like the AdM deal. Sure, there was the odd report linking us to him at the start of summer and then it went cold but then an actual report came out and within a week he'd signed, English press were oblivious. Starting to really like Woodward, if we get this deal wrapped up it'd be a fantastic step up from last Summer due to how early we got it sorted!
