He doesn't believe ? Isn't he the chairman of the club ? how it's up to his thinking or belief ?
The translation may be slightly out. I've seen someone on twitter now post it as "I believe that we are not in negotiations with United by Morata"

What wingers ? We never played a real RW because he was always drifting inside to join the midfield and letting Valencia take care of the right flank. The problem might have been present on the Left flank but not because they were deap, but because our LBs options are terrible in attacking except Shaw who was out of form all season. Darmian prefers to stay deep to defend and that left the LW alone, and Martial wasn't really in good form to take a left flank alone on his own.

Mourinho's 4231 at chelsea and conte's 343 is a massive example of a unbalanced and balanced team. Same was the case with United's wingers and full backs this season.

Luke shaw was injured last season completely stil no one overlapped martial, but the play suited his strenghts, In this philosophy the creative attacking players need to be freed of tracking back 100m's as they lack that engine to do both duties. Not just martial but rashford too. Liverpool game away is a prime example of that which was early in the season.

Mourimho must fix that issue and manage that carefully. If the player has got that engine and work rate then its fine to expect them to defend but when they are struggling to cope its better to go easy on them and adjust like conte did.

Anyway, I'm sure he won't say anything about the transfer even if Ed is setting beside him with the contracts on the table while Perez's talking in the phone.

Wish we'd just pay the fecking money and get this done. What's the alternative? Start the season with Rashford as our strike force?

How we overlap Martial if the LB isn't good in attacking ? Blind is too slow and Darmian is too defensive. It's not because of tactics it's because we don't have an attacking LB except the injury-prone Shaw.

Anyway, it's clear we're going to build the team on a 4-3-3 rather than 4-2-3-1 so talking about 4-2-3-1 being balanced or not will be a waste of our time.

Maybe we're not in negotiations because it's already done

But no, I genuinely wouldn't be surprised if Woodward hasn't even started transfer negotiations yet

He has returned from honeymoon, so he is only leaving to sign. He is not going to madrid to do anything that could be argued over the phone by himself or agent.

This move, if true, is the actual sign up. But in the last few mins.... To whom he is signing for, is now the main question?

Y'all need to chill, this one is done like dinner

Price is what the deal is holded upon, and his statement is a meaning that show him the money, which we aint going to give with the toally inflated unrealistic price he is quoting.

I'm sure ed will sort it out one way or the other.

Just a obsevation that how many wingers and fullbacks have failed under Mourinho because of this issue? Schurrle Filipe luis salah pedro baba rahman De brune. Hazard was also not perticularly happy with it. There is a trend. Same thing can happen here.

Hope fully a balanced 433 gives more freedom and relives them of defensive duties for players who are struggling to cope but have that talent to be good.

PL teams keep getting d*cked down at every level by La Liga teams and yet this myth is still alive and well.

More about the divide in quality between the top La Liga teams and other teams in the league compared to the PL. You look at RM's results this season and it is very predictable, they drew with Eibar, Las Palmas (twice) and lost points to Valencia which is probably as close to a 'shock' as they had.

This divide is evident is you look at salary surveys across the leagues (global sports salaries does a good one). For example, for the 2015/2016 season Burnley's average salary per annum per player was £950,000 which was the lowest of all PL teams. In La Liga this would put them as the 8th highest paying club behind R Sociedad. Contrast that to poor old Leganes, whose average salary per player was a meager £270,000 and you see a big difference.

In short, stats are warped because the PL has less whipping boys nowadays than La Liga.

Even if Perez said it himself he is a lying cnut, as he proved time and time again, so why bother.

Mr unreliable himself
Because it was relevant to this transfer, that's why I bothered. You basically questioned the authenticity of the tweet, obviously went away and checked the feed yourself before telling me I shouldn't bother because he's a lying cnut. Whatever mate, all I did was post a tweet relevant to this transfer, no need to get your knickers in a twist over it. You clearly know what direction you are taking on it, so why get so uptight about a radio station reporting hus interview?

A few different stories have surfaced on Twitter. Sun reporting that Mendes has been seen in London with Juanma Lopez and they claim that they're tying up deals for Morata and James to us.

Metro reporting, via the Sun again, that Real have bumped the price up to £79m at the request of Zidane, who has asked they do everything to keep him. Starting to wonder if real are trying to get a bit of payback for De Gea here and will keep bumping it up as we get closer.

Wrong

I never said it wasn't authentic, i questioned its honesty and implied anybody could write anything and post it. Dont make it true! I have no idea who posted it or his history. But i do know perez.

Earlier this month he claimed nobody had bid on any of his players. More lies. So the man has zero credibility. I dont know why you are getting so defensive about it. Its only someone elses tweet. Not yours!

If it's true Madrid keep pushing the price up, then we need to make it clear to Morata that the ball is in his court and he needs to hand in a transfer request or whatever, if he's serious about playing here. We should not be paying anymore. So be it if we lose out, I'm sure we'll survive.

Never like to be rude about the elderly but Perez is a right cnut

IF the reports are true, that he has come back off honeymoon. Its not to debate the price or terms or anything like that. Your wife dont let you off honeymoon for that crap.

It could be showdown talks with madrid but he could do that via phone and agent so I think its to sign. I just hope its for us, a lot of recent stories about chelsea trying to launch a late bid. I dont think they really are but nobody knows until we see where he actually ends up.

I don't understand those taking Perez seriously. Public quotes mean nothing.

Speaking on esRadio’s El Primer Palo show, Perez said: ‘I don’t think we’re in negotiations with Manchester United, which is not to say that there are people around him who are talking, which is normal.

‘I have read that we have reached an agreement, I do not know how many million times, but it is not true.’

Why are people on about Real Madrid pushing the price up? Haven't the asking price been €90m the whole time? That's not pushing the price up, that's rejecting our offers.

Could just be Perez saying to us, we talk when you come with a better offer. Probably just playing hardball.
