Ozil has failed his medical at Arsenal due to a dust-induced asthma attack after the being shown the trophy room.

He's failed it again for the exact same reason?!

Why do they keep showing him then trophy room during his medicals? They know he suffers from asthma by now ffs!

Done deal

Taking a long time

Repeat.

R.I.P football and Ozil. How can you sink this low? It's all about money these days. Another talent who won't win a thing.

He can be the type of player they need to help them win some trophies. It's not all about joining a winning team to everyone. In addition, don't underestimate the persuasiveness of Wenger here, he was obviously a huge reason for him to join Arsenal I'm sure of it.

Or maybe his proposed move to Arsenal is all over the news everywhere.
Possible as well, the link was posted at a German sport website in their deadline day ticker, just thought I share it. Boateng is certainly capable of missreading the news and just posting it as a reaction without having talked to Özil at all.

Strange that this isn't confirmed yet. Probably will be soon but there's only 2 hours left so we'll see.

Only because he played 3 games more.

Seriously though, its a pointless stat to compare them with even though Ozil is admittedly different class.

What the feck is going on with this move? Are they waiting until literally the last possible minute to sign him... just to put their fans through the mill a little bit more?!

Fulham's Sascha Riether also tweeted ''Welcome to London, Mesut Özil''.

Make of that what you will. This one's done & dusted.

Mo Farah is now on Sky Sports News giving his opinions on the signing, thank feck they have such great insight on the programme.

Bit random, but does anyone have that screenshot from Skysports about Ozil having the most assists for club and country since 1 August 2010?
