Looks like we have a manager who is going to say the things we want to hear, but doesn't deliver. Hope I am wrong.
He's the manager we need but not the one we deserve right now. So we will abuse him because he can take it.....
Just to be clear here. Unless Ozil is proposing to take a wage cut those 5m/7m Euro offers are after tax. You're looking at 9.5/13m Euros pre tax.
Well done to Arsenal if they get him. They'll treat him well.
As for us not being that keen, well as has been said before in the thread. We've got a better goalscoring #10 in Rooney and a #10 we don't use in the role in Kagawa. Maybe he would have been a luxury signing - though personally I'd have been happy with that.
I've already slapped Al and myself. Give yerself a slap..Must resist urge to get excited........must resist
You can't have too many top class players. We don't have enough.
Moyes is obviously doing this to test us, like God did with...um...that bloke in the Bible.
Martinez/Vidal are not available. Herrera and Felliani are. Herrera is no Fabregas but he's much better to the players we've got. Felliani is no Vidal but the guy's got that Keano's bad loser's attitude, he knows his limits and he's fecking strong. Both players are still young and can improve.
Ozil is a great player but we're no PSG. We work on a budget. Currently our budget isnt enough to sign what we need. In few words Id rather see us get what we need rather then spend the dosh on a luxury signing.
Here's another Moyes classic (paraphrasing)... "I've been told there isn't a budget, we will identify the best players and go for them."
Ladies and gentleman ... Marouanne Fellaini (maybe).

But we didn't really need RvP either, did we?
When a player becomes available that will improve your team, then you have to be in for him and going balls out to get them IMO.
We did. We were too reliant on Rooney, Kagawa and Rooney can't start in the same team and you want Ozil too?
Let's lend Jones to Arsenal; then he can accidentally kill their squad in training.
I suddenly have this feeling that this quote is similar to your average Joe in the street who walks past a Lamborghini in the street, and says to his mate next to him " I am always looking for the nicest cars", but then turns out to be speaking shit and either settles for nothing or a FordFiestaFellaini
Agreed. He'll take them to another level, I guess if they can keep their players fit they'll be up there.Sickeningly good signing by Arsenal.
What have I said wrong? Why did you decide to start posting again?

Aside from the fact that he's signed for the Gooners it'll be great to see him playing in the Premier League.
Nothing wrong with Fords - they're sensible buys that know how to get from A to B without too much fannying around and the running costs are very reasonable.
Having said it's Arsenal, they were certs to sign Higuain, Suarez etc at one moment, so I'm taking this with a pinch of salt.
