I think it is bullshit. Thinking about it, these figures have been banded around for weeks. Too easy to make up a story. OR, all of this could be his agent trying to force our hand, because he doesn't really want to sign for Arsenal.

No that's probably not bullshit. The bullshit is that he chose Arsenal over us because they offered €7m and we only offered €5m.
I hope we arent in for him. That'l be better and more acceptable than losing out because we werent willing to pay him 7mil a year. That'l be just insane.

SAF had said in the past that the club goes in for exceptional talent simply because they are too good to miss out on. Rooney for example we were forced to buy earlier than planned because of Newcastle's interest. Didn't he say something similar when expressing interest for Sanchez?

I just can't get my head around Ozil being 24 and world class and he's going to be spending his peak years winning nothing at Arsenal.
