    Haha nice, I put Sanchez on the bench because he deserves to be benched.

    I would have played Rashford and not martial though, the latter was as bad as Sanchez but let's see what he's made of and if he's gonna take his chance.

    This. Couldn't see Jose doing any different. They've been pretty good the last couple of games. As you said, they need to build a partnership and the only way they will do that is if they're playing together.

    Hopefully another convincing display from the two tonight.
     
    Mournho really going against expectations there. Giving Martial a chance, starting Dalot, allowing a centre back partnership to build. Continuing to appease the fans. Only thing missing is perhaps Pereira.
     
    Lukaku, Martial and Rashford rarely ever play well together. Always seems to a disconnect between them and the midfield.

    The latter two have a real chance to pressure Alexis though.

    Brighton 1-0 loss last season was the last time they started together. Rashford played up front and Martial was on the left.

    Last time they played on both flanks with Lukaku up top was the 2-1 home loss to City.
     
    So much talent in that lineup. Lukaku, Martial & Rashford looks like a match made in heaven, yet they very rarely perform well together. Matic, Fred and Pogba is another exciting combo. Finally get to see Dalot perform too.
     
    Other than Andreas being on the bench, this seems like a team for the future. A lot of chances for younger or in Fred's case, new players who I'm sure Mourinho is hoping will take this oppertunity
     
    Just realized I posted this in the wrong thread. Anyway, extremely happy that Alexis has finally been dropped. Also very excited to see what Dalot can do :devil:

    To be fair, we never have a combination that works well together. Martial did well with lukaku last season before Sanchez so let's hope for more of the same.
