    :lol:annoyingly true.

    Very excited right now though.

I do worry that this team hasn't played much together and as I have said before- chopping and changing our team all the time is not a good thing for it.

I am glad Smalling and Lindelof are continuing together right now, we change our centre back partnership way too much usually.
If we play an attacking style of football and play with an identity it shouldn't matter who comes in because the ideas are the same. That's where I feel we've struggled more than other teams because chopping and changing is even worse when you don't have a clear style of play.

That team is everyone's wet dream, which means we'll play shit.

Very surprised Dalot is starting already. Thought he'd only be there to start feeling part of the first team squad, and then make his debut against Derby in the League Cup next week. Maybe 10-20 minutes off the bench at most, but quite happy to see I'm wrong.

Also quite surprised Alexis isn't starting. I thought we'd keep him in there to try to get him a goal or two. But it's an opportunity for Martial so hopefully he grabs it.

No movement between the lines at all.

Lingard is brilliant at it. Sanchez is ok. Mata is slightly below average. Rashford, Martial and Pogba are poor.

I don't see this being a fluent attacking performance.
My thoughts exactly. Don't like seeing a United lineup without Lingard or Mata. Hopefully Fred is sitting and Matic can get forward, he's looked good in that role lately. If Young Boys come out and play, the pace up top could murder them on the counter but if they sit deep and dig in, it could be a long night. Bit worried about our set-piece defending without fellaini as well, not sure how big of a side they are.

It usually does matter a lot. We saw it yesterday in Liverpool's game. Sturridge replace firmino and Liverpool were playing well but the football wasn't as slick as it would've been with Firmino. Salah and Mane didn't play as well as they hadn't played much with Sturridge. When Firmino came on they looked better.

    So this team under SAF

I guess Rashford and Martial will not play as a winger but as inside forward with fullbacks overlapping and keep width. One of the reasons why we dropped Lingard and Sanchez for them.

The key question here is around transformation. We're going through a massive internal transformation, how do we then ensure that we have resource to onboard new platforms?!

Surpised Dalot is playing since Mourinho was forced at gun point to buy a player below 25. We all know he would field a team of 30 year olds if he could

Also, he's punishing Martial by playing him on an artificial pitch. Very sneaky way to force him out.

Am I correct in assuming Lingard is being rested, as opposed to dropped?

Keown again ffs. Bit different to LFCTV last night.

Who would you swap him for? Maybe Fred?
Probably Matic as Fred needs game time.
Credit to Mourinho, in years past he would have gone with his best team. He is taking a risk with younger players, exactly what us fans want.

And Rashford really needs to leave United if he wants to start games.

Looking forward to seeing Dalot. Two young guys at full-back, good to see.
