I genuinely think that having been head hunted by United there was a clear agreement that the rest of this season was not about results and was more a case of figuring out who out of the current squad was worth keeping and could adapt to what is needed. Amorim will be given a couple of windows and a pre season at least as results were not great in his previous jobs in the first few months either.
