When ever I changed my job I always checked out everything I could about the company, product, wages, benefits etc before I signed any contract. I can only assume Amorim did the same when the United job was offered so he must have seen just how bad things are both on and off the field.

Ruben simply needs time. Bruno is as much as problem sell one, sell them all bit he could have used Rashford in this game and against Bournemouth, Amorim will be the coach with 7 points and 4 defeats from his first 7 PL games, let’s stop sugar coating it, he has no PL experience whatsoever and even ETH had 35% more points per game this season in the EPL!
The players look more scared in his system than they have in ages!
Change is good, but you still have to get 1.7/1.8 Pl points per game not 1 point per game!!

I think we would have been better off now if we kept Van Gaal. How boring it was sometimes he could have given us an identity and with all the money spend the years after him it could have been a lot better with him.
I think managers only experience the magnitude of United when stepping into the role. It's increased demand, increased pressure and increased expectation.
It will still take the right individual to succeed in such an environment. Same reason why a board doesn't pick a CEO from a fortune 500 company off the street.
You cannot make shite players better by putting them in an alien system. They become more shite. You cannot suddenly sack players and bring in new ones so it HAS to evolve.- Status
