Shocker to see Kambwala in the starting XI. Presumably that means EtH is more comfortable with him in the CD than he is with Reguilon at left back. Which is a surprise.

Its been going on for so long it is in the clubs culture to have a constant injury crisis at cb. I pity the team that has been worse off last 12 years or so

Maybe because we had a punishing schedule last year when a world cup was squeezed in the middle, we played more then most and we are paying for it this season. I mean we have the worst injury issues in the league and yet you hear Pep and Klopp complaining about players being overplayed, so its not just a United concern.

Last season, Klopps Pool struggled badly and the previous season punishing fixture list was accepted as a explanation. Why cant the same be used for ETH ? Klopp having success and therefore credit in the bank doesnt change the fact that if your squad is fatigued and getting injuries because of excess fixtures, its not the managers fault.

Should have gone Amrabat and Mainoo again. Did alright against Liverpool. He needs to keep Mctominay and Mainoo close together and compact while letting Bruno be the creative one.

Somewhat amazing that McTominay and Bruno are deemed the first names in midfield this season despite what we have all been seeing in relinquishing control of midfield. Either they bang in some goals or one of them adequately stays as an 8, or else we are wide open to be penetrated again
