I obviously want us to win this, but if we lose I hope we get utterly destroyed, at this point I want LVG humiliated beyond repair. So far DDG has spared him those blushes.

I'm actually looking forward to the end of season review on DVD already.

I've enjoyed the ones after Fergie as there've been relishable highlights like the Fulham Crossing Extravaganza and Did A Man Called Steve Round Really Sit in the OT Dugout.

This time, however, there'll be accompanying matinee to the LVG Theatre of Dreariness.

Sideways and Coma are two films I've chosen. Better entertainment.

Bit harsh. Sideways is a good film.

Bilic says he hopes Rooney sits this one out. He wants us to have a chance, a fair game!

BBC program starts at 7pm, so no pre-match discussion whatsoever. Even they're bored with us.

Quite early kick off this? Kind of them to try to help us avoid falling asleep.

We'll scrape through then go out in the next round. Build up hope and then crush it. That's the kind of team we are now...

think West Ham will blow us away in this

just think they will be more motivated, we will perhaps start well but the simple truth is that if you don't create chances you don't score......

they will get a goal eventually and I can't see us coming up with a response

Jones: "Trust me, there is no-one more disappointed than the dressing room. We know we have to excite the fans, play attractive football and win games. We all want the same thing. We all need to pull in the right direction, starting on Wednesday. Fighting wise, I don’t think we can look at anyone in the dressing room and say "you didn’t give 100 per cent". Everyone gives their absolute maximum for this club and the fans and the manager. At times it has not worked but we are positive. We have to be. I keep saying it but Wednesday is such a huge game now. Every game is huge but this is even bigger. The lads will be gutted with the result [at Tottenham] and the way we conceded so quickly. Again, Wednesday is the defining moment of our season."

at times  So much small time, cringe-worthy bullshit in this quote. Just shut the f*ck up and concentrate on being able to play 1 minute without getting injured.

"Hey, at least its better than Moyes."

LvG has been told by Woodward to pack a punch tonight. So Jones and Fellaini will be definitely playing. Fellaini in defense and Jones as a #10

    The LVG Special

    Romero
    Mensah....Rooney....Rashford....CBJ
    Morgan
    Herrera..........Fellaini
    De Gea
    Young....Smalling

I believe Rooney and Rashford will be playing in what is known in LVG terminology as full inside false wingerbacks. Genius if you think about it really.

So who's he going to throw under the bus this time?
Anyone who isn't himself or Rooney.

What will be worse is if we win 1-0 despite no shots on target, but with a last minute OG, and then LvG struts into the post match press conference like he is God claiming it was all down to him and his genius

I can see LVG starting Fellaini to combat Andy C. in this one

Bloody pessimists on here! We'll play some attractive football and win this tonight, mark my words.

So Smalling will actually play at centre-forward then? ;)

play a few crap games and then actually come back fighting and get somewhere.
    Have faith.

LOL, faith in what? that the team and its manager can only perform well in one game roughly every month and a half? This team and manager are an utter clown show.

We've done this so many times, play a few crap games and then actually come back fighting and get somewhere.
    Have faith.

    nice one, mate

Last ever FA Cup fixture at Upton Park, and likely to be the last evening game there too. The place is going to be bouncing. It'll be a tough atmosphere to play against. Then those fecking bubbles will come out.

Not confident, but we really need to win, and win an actual trophy!

I agree that we are not great right now, but we can definitely go lower.
December was our lowest point where we lost/drew every game.
This is true, we've not been knocked out of anything and it isn't that long since we beat City. So yeah, you might be right, this is the only we will lose and think it's rock bottom before we can and win again at the weekend and the whole cycle starts again.

That's May 10, straight shootout for 5th place.

I really hope Rojo & Carrick are dropped. Herrera should start. Also hoping the front four to be playing in their natural positions (probably asking for too much).

Hope we lose tonight. That way there's no chance LVG can cling on for another season.

There, I said it. Any t0p reds, or posters who feel they have a right to tell complete strangers how they should think and feel, please slate me for being a spoilt glory-hunting no-nothing.

Let's just get this season over with. Going to be the last day of our season today.

Attempting to have faith in this team is like trying to force yourself to believe you'll win the lottery. There's no backbone in this team, just promising youth that understandably haven't yet reached that level of consistency and senior players that are either not good enough or over the hill. Oh and we have an delusional muppet in charge too, forgot to mention that.

One too many hopes there mate!

You're entitled to your opinion but how can you call yourself a supporter when you hope we lose? Anyway whether we make top 4 or not will likely seal LvG's fate, not the FA Cup.

Hope we destroy West Ham and crush their dreams of a fairytale ending to FA Cup fixtuers at Upton Park.

Has anyone else ever felt a feeling of 100% certainty that we will lose quite like this?

CL final 2nd time v Barca? The Derbies under Moyes?

He's gone for the short term pain, long term gain option. I think he can still call himself a supporter

    Damn you spoilt glory-hunting no-nothings.

Seriously speaking, I hope we win this but even if we lose then it could mean LVG out. Lose some win some.

I'd take us scraping through to be honest

I dont care how it's done, just that it is done. It's a strange feeling watching United and expecting us to lose but hoping for a win. I've always known United to be a winning team :(
