This will likely be the last night match at Upton Park and definitely the last cup tie there, I don't see us beating them, in fact I can see them winning comfortably.

Last cup tie yes but the last night match will also be the last ever match at Upton Park. Tuesday May 10 vs us (game moved because it was scheduled for FA Cup SF weekend but one of these two will obviously be there).

On Skybet we are favourites! (I don't know why)

So if anybody is positive West Ham will win, their odds are good.

I think that pie chart will get greener as Wednesday approaches though

I'd be surprised to see Lingard start. I simply don't know what he does on the pitch.

If I had any money to spare I'd happily lump on West Ham.

    Payet will embarass us.

Yeah ... no. I'm not seeing a win here, and I have a 75+ % majority with me on that. We're just not going to be able to score goals.

Finally got access to post in match day thread and I don't like how it starts with negative mindset.

I for one can't see us winning at West Ham. They are in very good form and our away form is very poor. Also this is set up perfectly for West Ham. They are excellent counter attacking team and we try to play possession game, so in a way it's set up for West Ham strengths. Also they have very good aerial attack and our team apart from Smalling are not very good at it.

30% possession allied to 12 to 15 shots on goal , say 6 on target and we might have a chance - sticking to VG systems and tactics will ensure an easy win for the Hammers....

Well United did beat City away. Winning 2 tough away games in the league might be a bit too much but knowing that the FA Cup is a knockout competition I reckon LvG raises his game again and saves himself another few weeks on the job.

MCFC are blowing hot and cold.
We lost to LFC in 2 legs (draw and loss).
WHU, for those who don't follow them, are getting unlucky, game after game and getting draws. For example, in their last game, against Arsenal, they should've won that match, 5-3. One of their goals was given offside, even though video evidence showed otherwise.
I honestly can't see how we can win this match. WHU should score 2 goals minimum, against us. We'll probably score our usual, 1 goal (from Martial).

Read a stat that WHU hit the cross bar more than any other team. They've had some poor decisions against them. Pretty unlucky not to be higher than they are.

    Go LvG go!!!!

85% redcafe voted for Westham win

I don't even think West ham forums would put 85%, oh how the mighty have fallen
It is a prediction and it is almost always based on the result in the previous match.

So will Rooney play ? He just had a game on monday right ?

Glory glory west ham united and the hammers go marching on!! 5-0 to west ham, hopefully that is enough to get the cnut fired.

If we lose this our season is likely to be over. Time to show some passion, although we've shown none all season.

Surely if they were higher than they are their shots would be going over the crossbar more – you mean they are unlucky not to be lower than they are don't you?
    Regretting this already lol

We'll crash out to another thrashing and LVG's job will be as secure as ever.

Reckon we'll get a bit bullied and outplayed for most of the 90, but draw 0-0 and lose on penalties.

LvG will be happy with us 'giving them a game'.

I have no idea why as we're clearly the worst team, but I'm saying a 1-0 win. Just because it's getting to that stage again where you think we're nearing rock bottom, and that's the point we always put in a random, unexpected good performance and get a win.

Voted for 5-0 to West Ham. I'm not sure if that's my head or my heart speaking.

All logical thought processes point to a West Ham win. The only glimmer of hope is that we are predictably unpredictable and possibly won't play to form (meaning we might actually play well).

Mata chasing Creswell on the wing all game, Carroll out jumping Blind, Darmian spinning in circles like a dog chasing his tail following Payet.

I would hope we will get a reaction from the team, But I fear we won't. This is the last chance to save our season.

I see a thrashing in my crystal ball... is there some kind of a chance to go to CL if we win the FA? Just asking, I don't bother looking, I'm so fed up watching footy these days.
