Just need to get another man sent off, then Pulis might tell his team to get out of their own half.
Thismistimed tackle and he hasn't recieved a warning for any other tackles. Bullshit.... wasn't malicious
He clearly caught and tripped the player though, on the break. It's absolutely a yellow. If you bring "intention" into tackles you'll never have a correct decision.
Stuck his foot out when they took a quick free kick
Yeah it is, he actually kicks him. Really easy decision for Dean. Not a chance. He clearly goes to kick the ball, then stops when he realises he's missed it. He doesn't even follow through. It's not a second bookable offence at all.

This is Mike Dean, everyone knows he's an uppity twat who loves the attention. He should never be given the opportunity to make that decision.Dean could have easily not given one of the yellows. None of the other refs would have sent Mata off like that. I have seen players escaping without punishments for lesser offences.

Have you actually watched Mike Dean referee?
I was going to mention that would be perfect for when Mourinho takes over then, but had a quick think and A Cole / Ivanovic were some of the best attacking fullbacks around over the years he won titles with Chelsea in his first stint.Fullbacks are so important and we have two defensive ones.
Yes so have I. Mata isn't even remotely a dirty playerDean could have easily not given one of the yellows. None of the other refs would have sent Mata off like that. I have seen players escaping without punishments for lesser offences.
I've seen refs let them get away with it.
Edit: Phil Jones vs Liverpool when Slippy got sent off
Ok.It was a nothing foul. He stopped Fletcher who went down at the touch, that's it.
It wasn't malicious though. Was clearly going for the ball, just mistimed.Yeah it is, he actually kicks him. Really easy decision for Dean.
eeerm...Unable to watch this one tonight. How are we faring?

Like a hymen in a London comprehensive.Unable to watch this one tonight. How are we faring?
Because when do you ever see a ref send someone off on 26mins for 2 yellows?
Any other ref would have given him a final warning.
Every ref ever.
Scandalous refeereeing
If a player commits to yellow card offences then he should be given two bookings. Simple as that really.
With Mike Dean he will get sent off 5 minutes after coming on.Can't wait for LVG game changing sub at half time bringing Fellaini on for Herrera.
A lot of yellow cards are from players getting their tackles wrong or being too late and tripping the player, though. That's exactly what happened here too. Whether it was intentional or not is irrelevant. He tripped him and stopped a break. If every trip was a yellow card then that would make sense.
The ball was there to be kicked... Mata hadn't made a single foul before that. It was a decision that completely lacked any common sense from Dean.
Why should he ignore it, a yellow is a yellow 1st minute or 91sr minute.Very early in a game to be sent off, surely Dean could have ignored one of the challenges and just cautioned Mata? It's Mata FFS, he's lightweight, g=how many bad challenges could he have made that half 3-4? And now the game is likely fecking done. So yeah, Dean can be blamed.
Its the inconsistency which gets me. What about the Dier incident yesterday surely he should have been sent off? This is why fans get annoyed with refs. Rules seem to change from game to game.
