Maz and Lindelof can player central midfield can't they? if need be in the future

Too much has been made of this.
I’m being overly dramatic of course, but I genuinely just don’t understand it. Our best offensive outlet will be Garnacho, and I think he is crying out for an overlapping left-footed player.

It pains me to say it but the chickens have come home to roost as I previously warned because we were dumping players without bringing in any in the January window to replenish the depleted squad. . Our bench is now full of inexperienced kids by default rather than design.
More Old Trafford mismanagement. And asset stripping.
In fairness, who are we missing? Rashford, would not be playing anyway, Antony meh! and Malacia Amas is easily as good as him, I take the point I would want to see a larger squad but in the long term trimming the fat is what we need, not padding it with players who are not good enough

It's one of these rare moments when I wonder if it's even worth watching the game at all. If the owners can't give a damn about united...

Wouldn't it be worth trying one of the kids with Erikson OR Case? Their legs could cover for their not having legs anymore, but the inexperience to help them out

Need some youngsters to have an impact to save our season. No pressure then. Although we all remember the impact Rashford had from March onwards in 2016.

We're incredibly lucky the bottom three teams are incomprehensibly shite this year.

As mad as it sounds think I would rather be starting Kone, Morrhouse or Fletcher that I would Case, he is guaranteed to either get a straight red, early yellow then not be able to do anything for the rest of the time, or will gift a goal away

Ah, feck it. Come on, lads. Let's see what happens. I'm ready for a change with some fresh faces on the bench. We are where we are.

I don't get why people get so worked up over this. It's Dalot and Dorgu - whether it's Dalot L and Dorgu right or vice versa, who cares? They can both play either side.
I think there is enough evidence now that Dalot cannot play left. It’s been out of necessity more than anything.
He can line up there and run up and down the pitch, but he can’t actually play the position well.

Because it directly impacts the performance of the team? We have no one who can offer attacking threat with their left foot on that side. Dalot's been very poor on the left all season but evidently Amorim's happy with his performances there. Basically we have no ability to overlap on either wing which is hurting our creativity.

I suggested the same above, using one of the youngsters alongside either Case or Erikson. Their younger legs could cover for them, but they can also learn from their experience/they can help direct the younger player a bit and talk them through the game

Having 2 pairs of aging legs, one of whom is prone to rash challenges, feels like an accident waiting to happen. Also surely both can't play the full 90 minutes, if one was on the bench they could replace in a l4l change and the youngster could be replaced with another youngster and repeat the procedure

Least the younger players will run. Erikson will try and run, but his legs won't let him, then Case is done here imo, BUT we could at least use his experience to our advantage by pairing him with a younger player

The situation Ineos penny pinching has put us in....

Along the lines of the Busby Babes or Fergie's Fledgelings what should we call this callow group of prepubescents?

    Amorim's Adolescents?

Really tough game with the players out but I’m excited to see a few youngsters possibly come off the bench

Let's see the start formation. If Dorgu will play on the right again and if Mazraoui again as LCB.

Its easier for the kids to come in with the game rolling. They see whats up, they hear instructions only for them, the initial anxiety gone. Might see a nice surprise.

What a bench. Full of the Academy bar Lindelof. This must be the Glazers and Ineos plan.
Well got nothing to lose. Let's see

Because full backs / wings backs should be giving us width and they will both cut inside

Probably because it's been proven time and again with completely ineffective performances that Dalot CAN'T play both sides? How many more times do you need to watch him have zero impact in an attacking sense playing at LWB before you're ready to acknowledge this?

I don't think he's ever really shown he can play RWB any better. He's looked just as poor there every time he's played there (admittedly less than LWB)

It’s been 2 years since Casemiro last served a suspension for yellows / red card but ok.
