Better than Wolves, still a lot of the same frustrating problems of a lot of our players not looking comfortable on the ball and not creating passing options for eachother.

Rashford is not a lone striker and that will always drop the level of the team down a level as we pretty much only exist in 2 thirds of the pitch.

Onana is a lovely passer of the ball.

I do think that having the penalty decision would change the game. If we score that, the confidence in the side changes and we may have gone on to score more goals. Utter bullshit not to have that given.

    Has to be said that

But he couldn't get worse than he was against Wolves. That is a very low bar. I don't get the signing.
I think we’d of been better going after someone with a bit more physicality and someone who can control the midfielder.

I don’t know which one of the front 3 has been the worst - there isn’t a single situation on the pitch where I would expect us to score a goal. Spurs could give us the ball on the edge of their box and we could have a 3 on 0 and we’d still feck it up - having said all that we’ve been the better side, missed one of the easiest chances of the season and have had a stone wall penalty denied simply because of the media.

Lindelof's hands behind the back before the play has even been played is contagious. It's got Shaw doing it on that deflected shot. Pathetic defending.

Much better half, played some nice football, good pressing forcing spurs in the mistakes. Created some great chances that they really need to start putting away.

We signed Hojlund to rectify a lot of our isues tbf

Remains to be seen the level of impact he has but the lack of goals last season was also compounded by the passive contribution from the wide areas. Club should have signed a right back, right winger and striker as priorities on the premise of last season.

Think it would’ve been better if Sancho started and Garnacho came on later. Good half but missed 2 big chances and should’ve had a penalty probably.

Better but two very ordinary teams. Our front three is a mess, as expected playing our best attacker out of position is a huge issue.

Hojlund is going to be have to very good or we we’ll hardly score any goals again this season.

Better than Monday but fecking hell we are still abysmal in front of goal.

Oliver is always a cnut so it's not his fault if we lose or draw this game.

Bruno should be scoring that header.
Still can't believe he skied it. It looked like he thought he was offside as well.

People obsess over control. We are playing a Spurs side who play attacking football away from home. Yes, they have had a couple of breaks but thinking you can completely close them down is not realistic.

Think we’ve been fine control wise, just toothless from our wide forwards causing many opportunities to fashion chances/goals to go to waste.

If we were going to overpay for a striker, couldn't we at least have bought one who wasn't injured?

Ten Hag needs to sub in someone to replace Garnacho and push Rashford on the left. Garnacho has had plenty of 1 on 1 opportunities on the counter with plenty of space to pounce and he's failed to make much of those opportunities.

Im at the stadium. AWB, Shaw, varane and garnacho have been good. We just lack that killer instinct
Agree. AWB showing how high of a ceiling he has. His passing has been on point and he's calm under pressure.

I'll add Bruno has also been good. As usual when something happens he's involved.

Seems like Spurs are purposefully using their press to funnel it towards AWB because he seems to be the out ball a lot of the time, we need to try and mix it up a bit and stop them controlling the direction of our play so easily. We've done ok so far but we do seem to run out of ideas in the final third and then when we did create a guilt edge chance Fernandes wasted it.
Every team press United towards AWB it happens everytime he play…

I think we've been okay. Missed some very presentable opportunities. Not fantastic, not great - but it's been solid enough away from home.

Get Martial on for Antony, move Garnacho to the right and Rashford to the left. Guarantee you’d see an improvement.

Im at the stadium. AWB, Shaw, varane and garnacho have been good. We just lack that killer instinct

Shaw was saved by Lisandro couple of times because he was sleeping, and he was really slow on the overlap two times in attack, he is one of our worst players today.

Playing alright and been the better team, looking threatening on the transition as usual. We’re pressing well but final ball isn’t quite there.

Rode our luck with them hitting the woodwork twice late on however.

We've been better today though Spurs have been quite poor. Mount has been good, playing much deeper. Garnacho is being given so much space but hasn't made the most of it. Bruno's been really good but that miss was awful. AWB playing really well on the right but Antony's been very poor. Shaw getting caught out of position a lot and we do look a bit suspect at times defensively. Rashford's been really poor, he really needs to get it together. Think we should win this.
