Spurs and Wolves have dominated midfield since we lack pace and steel in CM.

Rashford is not a no 9, hopefully we will get more balanced when Martial and Höjlund are available.

Antony is a mediocre player and I would consider Bruno as RW and Casemiro and McTominay in a double pivot. Mount disappointing so far, as expected, but ETH will probably play him and Mount for another couple of weeks.

It's only 2 games. After 2 games last year we had zero points. The disappointment from my perspective is we'd have done better in both with Fred on the pitch in the 2nd half.

The glaring issue is the CF, or lack of. Once Hojlund is in the team, I think we'll see the best of Sancho.

This is the only thing that really matters really.

Until then we just need to hope ETH gets his wish with Maguire and Mctominay moved on, with replacements for them brought in.
Maguire and Antony to Saudi would be a dream. McTom could then go to West Ham for the £30m or so they offered. Give us a nice end of window kitty.

Those two games were Ten Hags first 2 ever for United. This is different. Not that I'm writing Ten Hag off or anything like that.

Carrying the hopes of our entire club on his back is what did it.

But seriously, stress fracture, won't be able to play more than one game a week also when he initially comes back. Will have to be managed over the next 6 months to make sure he doesn't aggravate it further.

Madness. I had not heard any of this before.

I'll admit I'm more worried after the first two games this season than I was last.
That’s because last season it was a new manager and a couple of new players. This season we know what the team is capable of and the shit we saw today is not good enough to finish top 6 let alone top 4.

I thought we were great for the first 30 mins or so. Then we seemed to just stop playing.

So, that's 1 goal in 2 games then right. And we are hoping a 20 year old kid is our savior right? The more I think, the more I'm getting concerned.

We already had like the third least goals out of the top 10 teams last season and now it’s looking like this is getting even worse as we didn’t really improve while guys like Case are declining, MR back at normal form etc.

City, Arsenal, Liverpool, Spurs, Chelsea, Newcastle, Brighton at least will outscore us comfortable. Maybe 2,3 others too.

    It is just so disappointing.
We've had players come in and some have gone, and others are it appears neither here or there, but the problems remain. We play in 'moments' as Gary Neville says, but when we do play well we have to score. We had chances good chances yesterday and should have been a couple of goals ahead at half-time.

Spurs were just all round better especially in the second half, they looked fitter and quicker once again, our mid field was woeful. Casemiro was better than against Wolves, but nowhere near his best. However he cannot protect the back four alone when we lose possession up field and the opponents come surging through the middle and his fellow midfielders are anywhere but where they should be; thank goodness for our goalkeeper. Of course we said that a lot when DeGea was here, I get the feeling we will be saying it a lot again this season, especially when we are not playing in one of our 'moments'.

The team performance perhaps reflects that the club seems to be getting itself into more turmoil now than has been seen in recent years. A lot of course is press speculation, but our team shape now looks worse even though we supposedly now have better players. Desperate for centre-forward, we buy someone who is injured before he starts and whose back injury will be a target for every 'knock'em silly' rough nut centre-half in the PL. The club owners cannot make up their mind whether to sell or not, despite every week fans inviting them to 'feck off'. The executive management don't know whether to bring back a player who as far as the law is concerned is 'innocent' even if on social media he is already condemned for reputed acts of domestic violence. If you are a fan having no smart phone, or having difficulty with new technology items such as 'electronic wallets', its practically impossible to access your season ticket... that is the one that some of you bought and paid for last Feb/March!

See what a poor result does, it affects every strand of the fans life, oh woe is me/us.

Also just heard the 'Lionesses' have lost in the World Cup final, but Mary Earp saved a penalty, that lass doesn't deserve to be on the losing side.

Unpopular opinion but Rashford saved him last season
    That's not unpopular opinion.
United started playing badly once Rashford's purple patch ended (some where between vs Barcelona and carabao final)

Walking football again. Casemiro should be dropped and Kobbie given a chance.
I think if any one needs and deserves dropping it is Anthony and that doesn’t take the brains of an Archbishop or indeed ETH to see why, will ETH drop one of his favourites?
I’m taking a chance in my line up prediction for the Forest match.

Penalty call: Garnacho’s shot blocked by a defender stretching out both arms in the box - 100% penalty.

I’d like to know whether the ref and VAR ref were ‘punished’ for this error, like last week’s refs.

That was not a sure penalty in my opinion, more of a 50/50 call. With other words: not a clear and obvious mistake so the refs got it right.

I’m not a paranoid person, but this like we are being fecked.
