The quality going forward has been so poor. Sloppy touches and awful delivery. Garnacho hasn't made much of all his 1 on 1 opportunities he's had. Rashford is still kind of shocking on the ball, so many sloppy touches and passes that relinquish possession. Antony has been poor as well. The midfield is getting bypassed quite easily, Casemiro hasn't been up to it.

Onana the only bright spot in this game so far.

Don’t think that was a bad half. For me we’ve been far on top but need to be way more clinical in front of goal.

If we had any sort of quality on the wings we'd have scored at least two.

Sancho should be knocking on ETH's door after today as Garnacho and Antony just aren't doing it.

Rashford isn’t a striker you can see he hates playing through the middle

No excusing his work rate though it’s fecking none existent
That’s just bollocks, he closes down the centre backs when they’re on the ball, that’s what a lone striker is required to do. Do you want him sprinting after Bissouma into midfield leaving no one up top when we transition?

Same shit as last season in front of goal. We should have been 2 up by the 30min mark but not clinical enough

The officials though, bent cnuts have changed the game. We really are the most hated team. Every fecking season.

Same issues as last season which the window didn't address. The outright improvement has definitely been Onana what he brings to the team cannot be understated.

    Some good some bad.

Main thing for me is our wing pairing is conference league level.

Goals will be our problem yet again this season.

Any runs from deep with and without the ball are gutting us. We look miles better going forward compared to Monday though

Can't say I'm surprised about some negativity as that is just redcafe, but it doesn't really make sense. The only real thing to be negative about is not taking chances.

    We have been good, otherwise.

The most important thing in football is to score goals. The game revolves around that. At the moment, the general play behind the front four is pretty good, or at least it's better than it was last week. But, we're not really looking all that dangerous.

See a few sayig Mount has been good in the first half....must be same people raving about Eriksen last season?

From what I have seen so far this season find it astonishing that it appears we have managed to sign a central midfielder even weaker defensively in the role than Wriksen and Pogba before them, he looks absolutely lost in the rol so far for me.

Absolutely agree with you. It's puzzling.

Anyway I hope we start the second half well.

Better than last week but still something missing. That said, we should probably be ahead. Hoping we can take any chances that fall our way in the second half.

We are doing better and should have scored at least one. Keep it up like in the first 30 mins and we win

Minor a couple of wobbly moments, we've done well. Can't finish though and that's one element of our game under Ten Hag that hasn't improved or developed.

A better performance than Monday, but we are still so clueless and toothless up front and even when we create a good chance we miss it.
Looks like goals are going to be a problem again this season.

Has to be on purpose. EtH is known for being ruthless but allows Rashford to skip pressing or defensive runs. Infuriating to watch, even if he were scoring 30 a season
Nothing can be done about Rashfords pressing. Or physical intensity off the ball in general. He just doesn’t like jostling and fighting for space on a football pitch. I’ve chuckled for years at his ‘attempts’ at challenging for aerial balls. I’ve come to accept this - when he’s on fire he gets a tad more enthusiastic at it but in general he wants none of it.

Mount remains a baffling signing. Eriksen is a far more creative option.

Yeah, I still think he is an appalling signing. He just not what we need at all. Why we couldn't just buy an 8, I will never know.

Rashford really gives no effort as a 9. At least run about and force their defenders to play quicker.

I would be happy if either Garnacho or Antony comes off and Rashford goes to the left and Martial/Sancho comes on.

Anyone else noticed that in Wolves and this match, all our players are diving into dangerous and pointless slide tackles all over the place?

Near their box, halfway, outside our box, probably in the toilets, someone comes flying in from nowhere when they don't need to?

    Worrying and ridiculous.

Ironically, I'd expect more effort from Martial.

Rashford gently jogging behind their ballcarrier with no intent on pressing or tackling, making sure they get the ball to the halfway line safely. What a good guy.

We've played quite well. Front three have been awful. Rashford just cannot play up front.

Decent I thought. Got into countless good positions. With a better attack we'd be a couple of goals up.

Agreed, should have been winning. Garnacho was getting so much room, but just not capitalising on it.

The front 4 are letting the team down.
