    Coach about ten minutes away.

So, our players will get off the coach, quickly get their kit on and then run out onto the pitch with no warm up or time to mentally get in the zone?
This is not the right way to prepare for a performance.

Some of you lot remind of the cnut teachers in school who told me off for being late when my bus showed up late or got stuck in traffic.

What do you want the players to do before kick off, have a look around the club shop?

I would have thought that when travelling on road, they would leave enough room to account for things such as traffic jams?

I mean, I get shit when I come in late for work and I don't have 40k people in my work place waiting for me.

But I'm sure they have this figured out seeing as it's hardly a regular occurrence. I'm just surprised that a big event such as a PL football game can be held up because of traffic and that the margins are so small.

Our lot will run out to the Match of the Day theme played on a kazoo, while stretchering Rooney to the box so he can head in a cross with his heroic English bandaged bonce. I take my hair off to him.

Would have picked CBJ or Darmian at left back myself over Rojo but then maybe Rojo's pace in getting forward will help pin Lamela back...who knows

    No dude.
What happens in most sports, is the players/competitors arrive at the venue.
They then get changed (into appropriate clothing) in a relaxed way.
Then they begin their physical and mental warm up (knowing that they are not being rushed or going to be late to the start line).
Roughly 3-5 minutes before the start, you begin to get yourself psyched up, so by the time the game/event begins you can come out of the gates at full power.

I think we'll do them. We've been good when teams haven't parked the bus against us this season and Spurs can't afford to do that in their predicament. Young exuberance in the attack will win us it.

And we wasn't trying to do that? We are deliberately turning up late so we can approach this match unprepared.

We would have left at the same time we usually do making sure we are there nice and early but due to unforseen circumstances that hasn't been the case.

    Not a fecking chance.

Ledley 'injuries stopped him being better than Maldini' King is in the chair for our game. Do we ever have an ex-United player anymore?

We parked the bus before we even got to the stadium.

Hopefully we won't have to hear about our prep as an excuse for a poor performance.

Hope we come out, press, play at a high-tempo and take it to them. The league pressure could get to them and the crowd. Plus we can be pretty good against the top teams and it's Tottenham.

I like Ledley King. Class player, good captain, no knees.

Carrick closing down on Dembele. That'll be a sight.

A delay of 2 hours and less isn't exactly a pig flying scenario.

Do people not get bored of trying to be the voice of what they think is reason.

Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal: "How will we be affected by the delay? That we can only say afterwards! Tottenham also had problems because they have to wait, and we had to hurry.

"I have already had an experience with Barcelona against Arsenal so I knew how London is. It is unbelievable! We have driven around in circles. It is unbelievable that you cannot drive to where you need to be.

"The warm-up has to change, we cannot do everything that we have to do. I am not a god, I am a simple manager but we must play very well as Tottenham are one of the best teams in the league."

Can't wait to see Timothy starting, he already looks a good player at such a young age.
God knows what's going to happen today, I can't predict this one but I do fancy us somewhat.
    Hopefully Rashford gets one today!

That Spurs lineup has plenty of pace, engine and teamwork. If we dont wake up from the beginning, this can get ugly.
