Don't know how to feel about that. Looked quite fluid going forwards , but that defensive performance made a mockery of our defensive record this season. Still there to be won.

Is it just me or is it beginning to feel that our fans are whinge even more than Arsenal's?

Our players seem very capable of playing fast flowing attacking football. There just seems to be a mental block that prevents them from doing so.

No idea what they are saying but I'm watching on a Dutch stream and they've got a title

    'Balverlies Rooney'

Showing all his sloppy touches and missed placed passes

I want RVP off for Young and Paddy off for Valencia both are brining nothing to the game thus far.

All our attacks have come from the left side with Shaw and Di Maria because they actually work together on the flank and have the pace to cary it forward on the right side we don't have any player that can bring the same atm.

    -----------------------DDG-----------------------------
    Valencia-------Jones---------Rojo-----------Shaw
    -------------Herrera------Blind-------------------
    Young------Fellaini-----Rooney---------Di Maria

That is what I want to see and hold back Mata to bring him on for Fellaini somewhere in the second half

Rooney has been very good, about the only player who hasn't put a foot wrong. And still so hated.

Maybe if you'd had your eyes closed and only listened to the commentary. He was one of our better players, yes, but still put a foot wrong many times in that half they were just completely glossed over.

Better performance so far. Defending is ropey as ever but at least we have a bit more speed and penetration in our play.

Agree we could do with a bit more balance on the right, RVP isn't having a bad game but I think we would be better off playing with just Rooney up top and an extra winger on the field.

    Come on United!

Not a bad half, as mentioned previously one of our better ones recently.

At times I thought we pressed the ball really well, which is definitely something it would be nice to see us do more.

Bizarre criticism from Setanta towards Shaw. Thought he had a good first half going forward.

It's been ok I guess. The goal was very well done, I must say. Lovely move. Not been enough of that quality though. Defence has certainly looked shaky and we've put ourselves in trouble a few times. To concede so soon after scoring was very sloppy.
Van Persie has looked very off the pace in this game. His passing and shooting has been poor. McNair has had a few chances to produce something but he doesn't seem to know what to do without another wide player. The yellow for Fellaini concerns me. He could be useful in this game but not been found enough in the box. Di Maria was the player that most impressed me in the first half.

Jeez. We didn't play that bad, Fellaini aside.

Some of you are a bit ridiculous. And as for the one who said we should sub Young for Di Maria, leave your computer, stop watching football and take up darts.
Fellaini has been ok besides the fouling, what the feck do some of you watch? Certainly better than your precious £60m man Di Maria.

If one of our strikers was performing anywhere near their normal level we would already be comfortable here.

Good game so far though, mainly played in the midfield. Van Gaal did well picking a proper midfield, I feel that if he hadn't, we would be losing heavily already.

Annoyed we're drawing but there are genuine signs of progress today. Moving the ball a bit better, we're just going to have to put up with he defence for the time being, it can't be fixed properly until the summer.

McNair and RVP have been awful.
