Footballs been good today. Shame we can't defend.
Our standards have dropped badly then. If this was a match under Fergie, even in his last 2 or 3 years when we weren't at our best, we would be saying how bad we have been in this match.

feck me, it doesn't even seem that long ago people (including Rawkites) were saying RVP was arguably the best in the world. Those career injuries really are catching up with him.

The problem is that he knows that as long as he's fit his old chum LVG will pick him.

His place in the team is seemingly always guaranteed and this breeds complacency.

Not a bad first half, we've played some good stuff and have been the better team but a margin, its just a pity we're wasting chances and the usual not being able to defend for shit.

 Young has had a better season than Di Maria. Much better. Di Maria, aside from the assist, has been horrible today. Can't even do the basics right. Di Maria as a winger isn't good enough. We might as well have kept Nani.

Arsenal beating Crystal Palace 0 - 1 go in to third. We are NOT getting top four this season.

Negativity has been omnipresent this season. We are not getting top four, then we go third, we are not getting third, etc. etc..

Not sure how anyone can think that was a good first half, should have been 2-0 down before we got the goal. Rooney and RVP "partnership" has never worked and never will. Fellaini at the top of the diamond must be an inside joke.

Young needs to come on for fellaini so he doesn't get sent off and we switch to a 4-4-2

Scored the first goal with lovely interplay but as usual our shitcnut back four give one away almost immediately.

Still all to play for in the second half. I wish we would play with wingers because this diamond formation just doesn't do anything for us.

Also, RVP is really getting on my nerves lately. How poor has he been?

Absolutely no balance on the right. You can't play McNair without a winger with him. We've massively limited ourselves with that.

The defending in this side is just garbage.

Arse 2-0 up, big improvement needed in the second half otherwise we can wave third goodbye to a team who are even less consistent than us.

To all the people panicking over Arsenal beating Palace, calm your tits. Swansea are a better side than Palace and we've been playing some good football today. Calm down.

Rooney has been very good, about the only player who hasn't put a foot wrong. And still so hated.

Easier on the eye. You put more attacking intent on, you expose your defense.

Blind not getting much support. A lot more movement from the front, particularly RVP. Think Paddy may come off for Valencia.

I've irrationally hated that Ki guy for a while. This just compounds it. Prick!

Don't know how the commentator is saying Rooney's had a good game, he's been horrible.

Back four has been poor at times, but at least we look better going forward actually creating decent chances for once. Herrera has been good, looking forward and trying to energise the attacks, McNair has struggled a bit but has had a lot of support on the right. Rooney looks better up front and van Persie has been more involved but needs to improve his shooting.

Weren't people talking about wanting to be more open and attacking even if it made us fragile at the back?

Do our players realise that goalkeepers can use their hands? Because every cross we put in goes almost directly to them.

To be fair to McNair, he's had absolutely no help down the right, both in attack and in defence, which was partly the reason we conceded.

Patches of decent play from us but a lot of sloppy passes and some sketchy defending. Di Maria is much better on the right than on the left. Rooney has had a good half on his own up top.

McNair predictably poor in another tough away game. He shouldn't be on the field and that's the manager's fault.

Not sure why Fellaini is getting stick, he's been good. Van Persie, however, is just fecking brutal. Herrera justifying his selection and Shaw also doing very well down the left.

We're playing football at a higher tempo which is nice but Jones and McNair are doing their best to much that up down the right channel. Smalling and Valencia are both better.

3 points very much up for grabs here. It'd be a killer if they don't get them.
