Di Maria was absolutely shocking for us, what are you talking about?

    Eh?
Di Maria was an assist machine. He played few minutes and while on the pitch created more assists than any other MUFC player. He completed only 7 matches (full 90 minutes).
    Was I imagining this?

    http://www.espnfc.co.uk/blog/five-a...ier-league-player-stats-of-the-2014-15-season
    Most assists:
    Cesc Fabregas (Chelsea) 18
    Santi Cazorla (Arsenal) 11
    Chris Brunt (West Brom) 10
Angel Di Maria (Man United) 10

With regards to him wanting to leave - he is human and can be persuaded. If you are constantly on the bench and told you are not good enough to play in the first team, what (elite level) player would want to stay. This is where man-management comes into it.

Dire stuff, we spent the first 20 minutes lumping it forward in these windy conditions, which made no sense. Stoke have simply been the better, hungrier team.

Could say that about Wolfsburg, Bournemouth, Norwich... go on.

Just an absolutely dire first half performance. Who, for United, played anything close to resembling decent football? It's hard to pick a single name out. Memphis has been nothing less than a joke - the very worst of a very bad bunch. There's simply no urgency, heart or fighting spirit in the team. The players, not to mention the club as a whole, look absolutely lost. Very sad times, as the downward spiral shows no signs of abating. At this rate, there's 45 minutes left in the LVG era.

Thank goodness Liverpool will lose later, too.

It's a quite annoying weekly thing. You embarrass yourselves in the early game, we get a few hours where the world is well and we look at the table-to-be with glee. Then we go and embarrass ourselves a bit later.

It is quite strange to play Leicester at Anfield as underdogs. Maybe this means we will actually win. Doubt it though.

Di maria was awful for Man Utd but don't let that stand in the way of a good opportunity to criticise

So is pretty much every attacking player

It's really looking like it was the set up and not his fault
Well he's not exactly setting Paris alight is he? (although definitely better than he was here). And Young outperformed him by some distance.

The set up is fecked though, yeah. We're all talking about players we'd like to see come in, but what's the point when they won't be allowed to play how they do? Might aswell have Schweini and Carrick on the wings if all Van Gaal wants them to do is turn around and pass it sideways/backwards and occasionally play a half decent ball into the box.

I can understand why Morgan was not played. Chelsea day after tomorrow. Him and Bastian in midfield.

But we need him to come on now if this is not going to get worse.

I am still surprised with the score so far. I always believe in the club.

Shameful for all involved. For van Gaal still being here obviously. But the board's decisions. Sorry Fergie and Charlton have to share with what has happened. We had the chance to make a simple logical decision after Fergie retired. That was the floodgates opening...kin Moyes. Look where we are. Well Morinho coming will stabilize us at least. We now have to hope Arsenal and City also cock up...

Reminds me of the time before Moyes was sacked.

Please Mr Rooney, I know I dropped you but can you please come and rescue me now.....

Fvck you Van Gaal, don't let the door hit you on the way out. Joke!

Fellaini, Carrick, Mata, Depay, Young, Blind, Jones - I'd feck them off in a heartbeat. Rooney, Giggs and LVG too. I'd rather we finish midtable with Perreira and Varela than watching those spineless cowards steal wages from the club.

Wolfsburg, Bournemouth, Norwich and now this, four games in a row we've abandoned the relative safety of shielding the back four with two holding midfielders and trying to pass the ball through the lines towards the creative players...

... and for what? Just to add Fellaini in an advanced role and start throwing long balls towards him with the hope that he will be able to either flick the ball with a header towards the path of the forward or chest it down, turn and do the play maker. Marouane fecking Fellaini as the driving force of our attacking plays. I doubt if Stole have ever played an easier half all season.

    Madness, absolute madness.

    Well that's just silly.

It's so obvious that the players don't want him any more!!

This is hopeless, we don't even look like scoring. The only player trying to do something is Herrera and even he hasn't been great. Carrick as usual goes hiding when things get tough, even Martial looks lost. We won't get anything from this, just hope we don't concede more.

Such a weak line up. Baffling. Must have had some major assurances from the board in the week.

Are we really bashing LvG here? This is ridiculous.

I wanted him out before and still want him out if things don't change, but today's isn't his fault really.

Memphis being stupid and a wonder goal. They have 2 shots on target and 2 goals.

    We have had 4 (?)

Herrera shot, Fellaini offside effort (rofl), Herrera header at half time, Memphis free kick(from the corner).

No di Maria is doing well. Decent amount of goals and loads of assists

Would you people stop banging about how gutless the whole team is? Yes, there are average players out there but Laicester is full of them and worse and look at them. The fault is 100% down to the manager.

He has to go, we are repeating the same mistakes oveand over again, and there has been no improvement at all.

On what basis? Our collective fervent hope? I feel like crying but too numb to even get angry.
A faint hope that the never say die attitude and how important this result is will suface amongst the players.

If Fellaini stays on in any case I will jump off my balcony.

And you'd still be jumping higher than Fellaini.
